Beautiful comfortable villa, have everything you need

So friendly & helpful staff, private with small numbers of guests, sit in the middle of natural scene, not so far from city center. Overall I love it and would like to stay longer …. (The entrance has steep stairs and is not suitable for elderly people with knee osteoarthritis.)

If you stay here for many days, breakfast choices will be limited. Some motor bike noises from the street (uncontrolled factor). Beware of

Romantic & quiet jungle retreat

Love the welcome snack, the privacy, the interior of the suite, complimentary mask, breakfast delivered to room. Helpful, polite & responsive staff. The suite & pool west facing, so we got sunset view. Hotel staff helped us to carry our suitcases from the street to our suite.

The property descends quite low from the street level, not recommended for people with mobility issues.

94 stairs to access villa, the stairs really put me off and I would think twice about Booking again No shuttle bus, cost $30aud to get into town centre and back. Even if I shuttle bus was only offered a couple of times a day would be great. Seat required at the top of the stairs No restaurant

Gorgeous views, decent service and comfort

The views of campuhan from this location are absolutely stunning. You're enveloped in the jungle while still a short ride from central Ubud. The space is aesthetic in almost all white, and they add fresh flowers to the room. The pool is a comfortable temperature overlooking the ridge.

I'd definitely say this is more of a 4-star at most in terms of comfort and service. Vegans should seek outside breakfast or plan to cook as there's no oat milk for coffee and the fruit wasn't fresh and juice is bottled from concentrate. While the team is rather attentive, I requested to be texted about cleaning, etc and even so there was often someone knocking on my door with no heads up. The furniture is pretty though I didn't find it very comfortable. The most interesting lizards live in the villas and in their roofs, and they do leave droppings all about. The largest I saw was almost a yard! That was new for me even though I've stayed in many other natural places in bali. Overall if you're into views and don't expect a 5-star this is a decent stay, but I personally found it overpriced for what it offers.

Quiet, relaxing luxury

This is heaven on earth. We arrived and felt the relaxation happen immediately. The rooms are so beautiful and tastefully decorated, clean and very comfortable. There is lots of space to settle in. The grounds are beautiful. You must have a basic level of fitness to get up and down the stairs. The staff are incredible and after just 5 days we felt like new humans! Sleep, swim, eat, rest, stretch. We just LOVED our stay!

It was a lovely spacious apartment with a beautiful bathroom and facilities

The bathroom is open to the elements so I was worried about mossies biting me while I showered. There were geckos inside the apartment including large ones that do large poos which drop from the ceiling onto anything...seems like something to be aware of before booking

Fantastic quiet retreat

Amazing setting, overly friendly staff they honestly could not do more for you. The best service we had in Ubud by far. No traffic noises, can order in easily, only a quick grab to town. The staff will organise absolutely anything you need to be brought to you. Can walk into town across the ridge in about 45min.

Peaceful get away and we definitely found peace there.

Very tranquil. Beautiful pool area and the room was extremely nice and quiet. Delicious breakfast, even when you have to decide the day before what you would like to eat. Bed was cosy and the best sleep in a long time. They provide both only shower gel and shampoo but conditioner and sheet masks and lotions as well. Yoga mat in the room too. Lovely stuff. Tons of birds and animals around the hotel. Little extras which made the stay special like afternoon tea and a bamboo box in the room.

We knew it would be a bit out of town, but you cannot go by feet without be confronted with tons of cars on a very shabby road. The ridge walk is around the corner, but to get there you need to be a little bit adventurous. To get to the hotel you will have to pass a lot of stairs. Some of them sloppy and high. Not very comfortable for elder or parents.

Scenic and relaxing jungle paradise

The property was gorgeous, nestled down in the jungle giving it a very exotic and peaceful feel. The location is a nice distance away from central Ubud, however everything you might need is easily accessible including spa, dining, and refreshment options. The staff were extremely helpful, courteous, and respectful. Overall, Cloud Nine offered an experience to remember and we could not recommend it more. From the little touches, like the welcome drink, to the thoughtful perks, such as the awesome pool view or delicious breakfast, this made an amazing place for a honeymoon. A big thank you to the team.

The view is breathtaking! This is a beautiful luxury villa. It is close to the Campuhan ridge walk to Ubud. We had a fantastic breakfast every day made with special detail. The people were so friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again. There is a lovely coffee shop and restaurant, The Shed within a few meters.

Paradise! Would recommend

Cloud nine is absolutely gorgeous. Feels like paradise in the jungle. It is a little outside of Ubud but that’s what we loved about it. It felt very peaceful with only jungle noises to hear from our room. The bed was the comfiest I think I’ve ever slept in. The breakfast is also incredible as are the very helpful butlers.

The wifi was terrible - very slow. Although we didn’t want to be on our phones much, it would have been helpful so that we could do research and plan our days.

The staffs were super friendly and helpful. They made us feel at home and welcomed. The food was good and the service was the best apart from our arrival. The trip was our honeymoon, so the staff decorated the room really lovely, we really loved our stay in general.

We were lost upon arrival as the sign was tiny. Besides, when we arrived before the check-in time of 20 mins there were no receptionists as they were busy cleaning the rooms. We had to walk really far downstairs with the heavy luggage. However, when we checked out, the staff helped us bring our luggage up.

Blissful stay at Cloud Nine Estate

A beautiful sanctuary a little out of Ubud with lovely spaces to relax, and very friendly and accommodating staff. Great coffee shop overlooking the trees just down the road, and had a great massage at Karsa Spa, also nearby. Just 45 mins into the centre of town over the ridgetop walk. Thoroughly enjoyed my time here and will be back without a doubt.

Either need to hire a bike or arrange taxis to get to town if not up for the 45 min walk. Staff very helpful on this though.
