Private, quiet, clean villa in the rice paddies

Yudi & Erna took such great care of me during my short stay at this incredibly charming villa. Situated in a village in the rice paddies, the villa had the secluded feel of being close to town but away from the noise. Walkable to delicious food and coffee (Paddy Point for dinner, Uma Coffee for my favorite pistachio drink!) and you can keep walking to make a loop of the rice paddies and some jungle too. This accommodation requires some walking if using a car, but I enjoyed the walk into the rice paddies and was able to get moto taxis as needed. The accommodation itself is heavenly— the large indoor/outdoor bathroom, the beautiful pool, the covered, outdoor seating and the comfortable bed. It felt very safe and private. Super clean - they tidied and reset the room daily. The breakfast each morning was divine. And the highlight was certainly feeling so taken care of (especially as a solo female traveler) during my stay. Yudi went above and beyond, taking my friends and I to a beautiful purification ritual and even leading the ceremony for us. I am so looking forward to coming back. Feel like I’m part of the family!

A fantastic stay and made to feel welcome!

Very homely and welcoming. Erna and Yudhi were very welcoming and provided very useful info about places to see and the breakfasts were delicious! They were very supportive on any requests for breakfast. Made us feel relaxed and were so helpful. There’s a really nice walk along some rice fields and you can easily loop back along the main road and stop at a restaurant for dinner. It’s fantastically located in ubud away from the busy area and is very peaceful. One day I’m sure we will be back and use Rumah dadong. They’ve last a lasting impression. Thanks very much! Also the pool was very refreshing to use after a long hot day!

Pleasant, relaxed and comfortable stay in luxury

This was excellent. A beautiful facility in a beautiful environment. I loved the location, as this part of Ubud is much quieter than the centre. The host and staff were super friendly and attentive. We loved staying here and felt sorry to leave. The private pool, the breakfast, it was all wonderful.

The pool was a bit hard to get in and (mostly) out. A few extra intermediate steps would be helpful. A young and healthy person will have no problems with it.

Beautiful villa and incredibly nice hosts

The hosts as well as the personnel are all incredibly nice and helpful. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome, comfortable and helped us with any questions or problems that we had. The villa we stayed in was really big, beautiful and clean. I can only recommend this place. We had a great time and will definitely come back here !

Beautiful property, serene location, and great hosts - far exceeded expectations!

Amazing location, property, and hosts (Erna and Yudi). The property was immaculate and beautifully presented - it far exceeded our expectations. Furthermore, the breakfast provided daily was amazing and had everything from fruit to nasi goreng. It was located just outside the ubud centre so was nice and quiet but very close to the town when we wanted to walk (or grab) in. 10/10

Perfect setting secluded yet close to rice fields, monkey forest 30 mins walk, temple etc. Erna and the team were fantastic, breakfasts were super good.

We had a wonderful five-day stay at this beautiful villa. Erna and Yudi were exceptional hosts—warm, kind, and genuinely caring. From the delicious breakfasts each morning and fresh flowers in the vase to thoughtful activity suggestions and restaurant recommendations, every detail was perfect—starting with the airport pick-up. They truly knew how to make our stay unforgettable. A heartfelt thank you for helping my husband plan my birthday and making it a day I’ll cherish forever.

Cute private villa surrounded by nature

I loved this place. We had a private villa for 2. It's very well organized, with a small kitchen area outside, the room with mosquito nets and AC, and a bathroom outside. The bed was comfy, and the pool was amazing, surrounded by plants. Breakfast came every morning, and the owners were so helpful and nice. They helped with renting a scooter, answered questions, and gave us suggestions. I recommend this place, especially for couples :)

The road to the accommodation is a bit of a walk but it's worth it! So, no actual complaint🤭

Peaceful villa stay

Yudi and Yanipik were wonderful hosts that went above and beyond to make me feel special on my birthday even though they had no idea before my arrival. They supplied a beautiful flower bouquet and a lovely personalised cake on my return to the villa in the afternoon. The villa was peaceful and in a good location out of the way of the busy centre of Ubud, but not too far to travel into town. Breakfast was wonderfully catered each morning and the hosts were always willing to offer more if needed.

The bed was very hard for my liking and due to humidity the room was very stuffy. The villa itself had all the amenities needed though.

Villa was amazing. In quiet region and you can really relax here. Yudi & Erna are wonderful as they help with everything what you need. Breakfast selection was good, also housekeeping was perfect. Cozy Private Villa Between Paddy Fields

Rumah Dadong is highly recommended for travellers who need a "home" in Ubud! It is really secluded and feels like at home. Complete facility with semi-outdoor bathroom, private pool, bathtub, kitchen, and seating area. Located in beautiful neighborhood, with great owners and beautiful pool & garden. The wifi was great. I love the entire place.

The property gets a bit wet & dirty after rain because most of them are outdoors. Also, you need to be prepared with the small path to get to the property. If you stay in this place, I suggest you rent a motorbike if you don't like to walk or want to save time.

We had an excellent experience staying with Yudi. Him and his staff are very hospitable and attending to any requests efficiently. We stayed in the one bedroom pool villa and it was fantastic. Lovely manicured garden. Comfortable lounge area and bedroom. Was beyond our expectations. Incredibly clean bathroom with attention to detail. If you ever get the chance to stay here you will definitely enjoy your stay. Highly recommended and would stay again. We have had a few experiences in five star hotels in Ubud and this is definitely on par if not better. Thank you for the very pleasant stay. See you again.

La amabilidad de los propietarios, siempre dispuestos a ayudar y con una sonrisa. El desayuno increíble y con diferentes opciones. Recomiendo este alojamiento si vas a hospedarte en ubud. A unos 10 minutos en moto de la calle principal de ubud (25 minutos andando). Relativamente cerca pero en un entorno tranquilo y sin ruidos. Sin duda, recomendaría este alojamiento.

Estancia cercana a ubud

Ideal para desconectar y estar alejados del tráfico y los ruidos pero a pocos km del centro de ubud. Todo el equipo es excelente, súper amable y atento. A pesar de tener que caminar 5 minutos a pie para llegar al alojamiento, Yudi te ayuda con un carrito para llevar las maletas. Nos han recibido a pesar de llegar tarde y lo mismo a la partida, preparándonos un desayuno para llevar ya que no íbamos a poder disfrutarlo en el alojamiento previo al check out, que por cierto el desayuno está muy muy bueno y completo. Los warungs que se encuentran en las cercanías todos están muy ricos. Llevar repelente para mosquitos ya que al estar cercano a los arrozales por la noche sale alguno que otro.

Lo único que se puede decir es que la piscina no está climatizada pero es irrelevante la verdad, todo el resto hace que la estancia sea excelente.
