Mushroom cottage
It was quaint with original brickwork features
Apart from the bedding & towels being clean, it looked like it hadn't been touched in months with everything covered in cobwebs & the kitchen counter tops were horribly sticky. Also, I wouldn't have described it as a cottage. It was more a converted outbuilding

Lovely place, village and area
Very cosy, had everything you would need. Cute and quaint property. Some imperfections but they don’t really effect the stay
The one thing for me would be the check out being too early and check in being too late. Even an hour extra either side would make a huge difference.

Generally a great stay in a beautiful location
Excellent location in Castleton. A really nice conversion. Everything you need for two people.
We found the bed too small as we’re used to a super king and the wet room/toilet was a very small space and took a long time to dry out

A cottage with Mush-room despite being small!
Very easy to find keys, although I knew I didn't get a signal on my phone in Castleton so in advance I had screen grabbed the code. The lock box location and code working were easy enough. Mushroom cottage is the kind of place I want to retire to, view of Winn Hill and Lose Hill, in Hope Valley, quiet end of lane, historic refurbished stable in a small country location. Perfect size with everything mod con related. Plenty of room despite being a small abode. Nicely finished with period features. Great stay!
