Comfortable cottage Handy for shops and pub Overall a lovely getaway, really well placed for beaches nearby. Will potentially come again.

Personally for me, bed a little too soft but clean and comfy enough. Bathroom seal could do with clean or reseal but no worse than my own house lol

Lovely little cottage :-)

A perfect, cosy little cottage in a very quiet location. Great for visiting all the North Norfolk coast beaches and National Trust properties and gardens. Five minutes from Norfolk Lavender. There was parking for two cars, but we found access not quite straightforward. It’s a sharp turn into the car parking area due to parking at the charity shop next door. Obviously, not within the owner’s control. It’s a single track access road to the property and if anyone is parking there to deliver, it makes getting in challenging. The cottage two doors down is being renovated and builders are delivering back and forth along the track. We loved the little walled garden at the rear. Safe and secure for children and pets. We loved the small conservatory and all the crocheted blankets all over the cottage. Very homely and warm.

We read the reviews and thought we could cope with the bathroom. It’s the only thing that lets this lovely cottage down. No one is going to have a nice relaxing bath with black mould all along the sealant around the edges of the bath. I was worried about mould spores causing a health/ breathing problem. The shower is a mixer attachment to the taps. It didn’t work well. The shower curtain doesn’t contain the water, it is strangely permeable. We made the best of things. If the bathroom is fixed we’d really love to return. We also read about the high step into the upstairs and second bedroom. These are too high for anyone with mobility difficulties or anyone carrying a baby in their arms. A safety grab rail is needed for the bunk bed room. A ‘mind your head’ sign is urgently needed for the low beam to the conservatory as we had bashed foreheads. To be fair, if we had only been there for 2 nights we would have coped with the bathroom/steps. Overall, it’s a gorgeous cosy, pretty cottage. The mould/ sealant problem could easily be fixed. We did try cleaning it, but it wouldn’t come off.

The cottage was very well equipped and cozy. Plenty of games, DVD's and reading material available. Very comfortable bed. Also a nice quiet location

The side gate couldn't be locked as the bolt wasn't fully alligned. Just needs an adjustment
