If you like the style you will love this place. If a cold day ask for the room to be warmed up first
Very friendly and helpful owner. Convenient and quiet. Breakfast was amazing.
Our room was very cold when we arrived and it felt damp, but by the time we returned later that evening it had warmed up. The style of Troy House is not to my liking, but that is a personal view and many will think it great.

Very comfortable everything we needed and an extremely welcoming hostess.
Denise was very welcoming and helpful. We were surprised to find out that we had a whole house, the Annex, to ourselves. The Annex was very comfortably furnished and well equipped We could easily have stayed much longer. The breakfast was excellent and the offer was there for more coffee, toast etc. There was also access to a lovely garden.
The stairs in the Annex were quite steep. There was parking but it was just off the main road and a little tight. The noise from the main road was a little loud but did quieten during the late evening/night.
