Very nice place in a great location and with very friendly staff

Very nice place in a very nice village full of life and restaurants. Gregory the host was very nice and always available to help. The room was spacious and very clean and the structure has a very beautiful and well kept patio where breakfast is served. We stopped one night to break our trip from Spain to Italy and we decided to stop again in the same place at the return.

The only comment I would have is breakfast. Although everything was very fresh and tasty and in good quantities, there is no real selection, the host brings various things, like bread, ham cheese, yogurt and croissants but that was it. It would be nice to have a little more selection but still it was a great experience

Excellent place to stay for a visit to this beautiful area

Fabulous host, really helpful in advance of arrival and throughout our stay. A proper traditional French breakfast on the terrace - absolutely perfect setting. Couldn't have asked for a better location, right in the middle of the village, everything walkable. We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect location for a late(r) arrival at Nice. Only 15 minutes drive.

The room was huge. We stayed in Appt # 4 - the Suite du Maitre. More like a studio appartment - yet bigger. WHen srcolling though the site of Carles, you will see a room with an arch in it. That is the Suite du Maitre. Very comfortable kingsize bed with good linen. The air-con worked like a charm and we could darken the room very well. The shower cabin was a bit small, but functional and a proper showerhead. The bathroom itself was big enough for 6 people (or more ;-)) to stand in. There was a hairdryer, good towels provided and more importantly - the room was very clean! Breakfast was ever so lovely. Freshly baked croissaints and rustique brown bread - all is brought to your table. No buffet, and service with a smile and a chat with Grégoire. Good tips for the surrounding area. For sure I would stay here again. For dinner we went to L'Auberge Provencale - just around the corner from Maison Carles BnB. Leave your car, take a stroll and have a lovely meal and a nice glass of wine! Bon vacances!

Hahah - if we have to come up with something we want to say that breakfast is being service without eggs. Not boiled nor scrambled. It only struck us on the 2nd day that there were no eggs, but kept munching away on the lovely bread and yoghurts. Did not miss anything. There are no complaints. We had a lovely stay.

Pleasantly :-))

A very nice place with a fantastic owner. The room is clean and spacious (apartment number 6) and has everything you need for a relaxing stay: beds, a private bathroom, air conditioning, kitchen and good Wi-Fi. The breakfast is delicious and the owner is very friendly. The place has a history that adds to the pleasant feeling during your stay. The sidewalk outside is currently being replaced, and we were informed about it honestly. This may cause some noise, but it's certainly not bothersome – the work itself is nearing completion. I recommend staying here.

An outstanding B&B, one of the best we visited in France.

It’s a remarkable property, a 17th century home with a beautiful garden and dining area. Lots of neat antiques around. My room included a tournament-size billiard table! Very good breakfast available.

Old building, no elevator and had to park a few hundred metres away, bit of a hassle with elderly parents.

Getting there was a nightmare but eventually we enjoyed our stay

This is a stylish apartment house at a central location. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast is really worth the price.

Approaching the property by car is very hard due to ongoing road works and parking nearby is almost impossible. The kitchen lacked some amenities, e.g. there was no cooking pot and dishwashing liquid.

A lovely place to stay. Huge spacious and comfortable room, it really was two rooms. Nice historical feel to the properly. The host was friendly and helpful. The village is nice to walk around and there are some fabulous restaurants.

Parking was a bit challenging as was property access due to road works but they are only temporary.

Highly recommended, a beautiful village.

Gregoire is fabulous and the place is really lovely. The room has old style charm, and everything you need. there is a beautiful courtyard for breakfasts, and make sure you wander through the little township for drinks and dinner. It’s a lovely walk across to St Paul de Vence.

Beautiful gem with super caring owner

We had a super warm welcome and we loved the place & vibe. The house - 300 years and family owned - is treated with love and is a special gem. Grégoire also gave us tipps for the area and around and is a caring personality what we appriciate. Merci beaucoup and we will be back here when around in the area for sure!

Location was great with a bar a short walk and lots of restaurants within a couple of 100 metres. Carles was a great host, and did our laundry without charging. Breakfast was lovely and served outside in garden terrace.

The room we booked was on the third floor which didn't suit but we were accommodated without any difficulty on the ground floor which was perfect.
