10/10! Eider is a wonderful host, always ready to help with whatever problem you might encounter! The accommodation is very well located, spacious, it was very pleasant to stay here! And the breakfast is a vitamin boost like you never had in your life ☺️

Located in an apartment building just a block from the busy main street with lots of bars, restaurants and supermarkets, it is a quiet and safe area of Leblon. The apartment has its own entrance, living room/dining area, bedroom and bathroom. The owner's apartment is adjoining but seperate. It is on the 3rd floor so there are two flights of stairs to climb, which is only an issue if you have lots of heavy luggage. There are automatic lights on each floor. The bedroom has sockets and lighting on either side of the very comfortable bed and a huge wardrobe/drawers built in. Lots of hangers are supplied and linens were great. There are TVs in both the bedroom and living area. The bathroom has a great shower with plenty of hot water and great pressure. Shampoo, conditioner and soap are all supplied. Indeed there are lots of other things supplied like first aid supplies. Host Eider seems to have thought of everything you might possibly need and if you miss something, I am sure he will find it. Breakfast is cooked to order in the morning at a time of your choosing. There is Italian Cafetiera coffee, a gigantic plate of 8 different fruits (I had to ask for less because I hate to waste food) and host Eider's delicious, freshly made, thin crust, focaccia. It's a perfect start to the day. Host Eider speaks great English and is happy to help in any way he can. I enjoyed our chats together. He explained everything about how things work in the apartment when I arrived.. He was also very prompt in getting in touch to confirm and make sure he was available to meet me. Note that payment is in cash only. Since I was short on Reales (due to my card getting cloned at the airport ATM and hence cancelled), he accepted USD for partial payment.

The apartment has such a warm, charming atmosphere, and Eider is honestly an exceptional host. These were my first nights in Rio, and I couldn’t have asked for a better welcome, I felt at home right away. The breakfast is absolutely delicious and made every morning feel special. I was traveling solo through Brazil, and this place gave me such a comfortable and safe base. I would return in a heartbeat. It’s often fully booked, which says everything, you immediately understand why once you stay here. The location is perfect: very central, in a beautiful and safe neighborhood. I truly loved spending time in the area and relaxing at the beach.
