Pansion River

I have stayed at a lot of hotels throughout Europe and the experience I had here is at the top of the list. The location is absolutely perfect and only a short 5-10 min walk from the main Old Town area. The hotel is unique and has a quaint vibe. What really impressed me was the people who ran the hotel. They were so kind and welcoming. My husband and I made a mistake with the amount of nights we booked and didn’t book enough nights. They were so kind and luckily they had availability and we were able to stay there another night. What could have been a stressful situation was made easy and we all had a laugh about it. We also received a cute little gift bag outside of our door before checkout that contained some candies, a keychain and a souvenir plate. I would recommend staying here to anyone. It’s a true hidden gem. (Also- what you see is what you get. You can instantly recognize the property when pulling up to it and the hotel and rooms are exactly like the photos!)

There wasn’t anything to dislike!

The hotel was at an exceptional location next to the river and 200 yards from the Turquish bazaar. The room was large and comfortable. The breakfast next to the river was a pleasure. Staff super helpful.

Wifi was slow and spotty. The room's terrace next to the water was nice but a nest of pigeons left a lot of trouble.

Location was perfect - right by the river and very peaceful but a short walk from old town. Our balcony had amazing views. Reception staff very friendly.

Old world charm on the river. Great location near the Old City. Excellent breakfast Coffee and nice selection of food. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable with a nice sized patio on the river. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

The hotel needs some freshening up and modernization. Cleaning away the cob webs and spiders on the light fixtures in the dining room and lobby would improve the atmosphere. The large hole in the lobby wall covered by a painting that leads to the street, should be repaired before winter. Our unit had shower doors that were to narrow for the opening which made it difficult to keep water from exiting the unit while at the same time the shower did not drain properly.
