Riad Chameleon

Everything! The Riad was beautiful and very clean. Rooms were very spacious and breakfast was absolutely amazing! The staff is simply the best and most helpful.

The beds could be a bit bigger and matras softer.

The location of the property was very good, you can reach out to everything you need to see. Moreover the property was so amazing, so clean and so beautiful. Even the terrace and the breakfast you can get, was an amazing feeling and the perfect start in the morning. And the best thing of the riad was Hagrid, the best and lovely cat you can find, thank you!

We have really nothing to remark!

Our stay at this excellent riad was made truly special by its impeccable service and prime location. It is situated just under a five-minute walk from Bab Ben Brahim and the nearby taxi station. Upon our arrival, Mourad met us at the gate and helped carry our luggage, welcoming us with the same warm, genuine smile that the entire team maintained throughout our stay. Our room was comfortable and spacious enough to move around easily, featuring great air conditioning and ambient lighting that added a wonderful touch to the atmosphere. Housekeeping was outstanding—impeccably clean, with our room neatly made every day while we were out. Breakfast was another highlight: freshly prepared, plentiful, and delicious. The hospitality went above and beyond. Mourad even helped us order food through a local delivery app and delivered it directly to our room. The entire team patiently answered all our questions, helped us navigate the riad, gave us a helpful map of the Medina, and recommended great local spots to visit. A special thank you to Mourad, Nourdin, and Ismail for making our first riad experience so seamless and memorable. We would love to return!

Everything was great

Where do we even start — Mourad and Ismael made this stay unforgettable. Mourad in particular went so far beyond his role: he met us late at night when our flight was delayed just to guide us to the riad, gave us tips on exploring the country, and even taught us some local phrases so we could get around more easily. One evening when we were out very late, he even reached out just to check in and make sure we didn’t need any help — such a thoughtful touch. It genuinely felt like staying with family rather than at a hotel. The rooftop is beautiful — plenty of space, lovely traditional design, and sipping mint tea up there was a real highlight of our stay. Breakfast was lovely every morning too — enough variety that we never got tired of it, even though the format stayed consistent. Housekeeping was exceptional: our room was cleaned every day while we were out, towels refreshed daily, and everything always felt spotless. There’s also the sweetest resident cat named Hagrid, and as someone with allergies I can honestly say it didn’t affect our stay at all — everything was kept so clean that it was never an issue, and honestly the cat just added to the charm. The location is great too, just a short walk to one of the main gates, so getting in and out of the medina was easy, especially with all the guidance from the staff (we got a map with the best routes to take, places to visit and tips about the medina)
