Riad Chameleon

This Riad is a little oasis in the Medina. The courtyard is just so pretty, the pool was wonderfully refreshing and a litter bigger than I expected. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with great AC. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable stay in Marrakech. They are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast is plentiful and served on the lovely covered terrace with beautiful views. There is also a sun terrace with large umbrella if needed. This place was perfect for our stay.

I’ve stayed in the riad four times now and I just love it. I will continue to stay here each time I visit. The staff are amazing- very accommodating and can’t do enough to help. The riad is super clean and comfortable- a real home from home. Its location is also excellent.

The host Mourad and his counterpart Mehde really made this experience exceptional. We had delays to our flights but they were there waiting for us just outside the airport at 1:00AM. They gave us a little tour as we drove to the Medina and guided us to Riad Chameleon. Amazingly there was much activity of people taking advantage of the cooler temps out in the city. Mourad welcomed us and pointed us in the right direction and sat on the roof balcony and made us amazing Moroccan Mint tea as we took in the early morning views. The breakfast was great out on the roof. Mehde gave us a tour of how to get to the Souks through the alleys and where to exchange money and we were off to wonder the Souks and other sights. We really enjoyed the dinner we added on. The room and beds were very clean and very comfortable and each room has its own shower and bathroom. The room had air conditioning so when we came in from touring the city we could relax and cool off. It was 105 degrees Fahrenheit while we were there so the air conditioning and pool were very refreshing. The personal attention and conversation really made this a cultural experience and made for wonderful immersion into the Old City and its culture.

The food and effort from all staff was amazing.

There was not much to dislike from the Riad. Everybody staying there were very kind and welcoming. Marrakesh is definitely a place I would recommend. The only drawback was thr fact that my son and I struggled a little bit to get some resources.
