Riad Dar Nadoä

I had a wonderful 3-night stay at Riad Dar Nadoa and would happily recommend it. A very special thank you to Said and all the staff for making me feel so welcome and looking after me throughout my stay. I loved my room, the facilities and especially the peaceful ambience of the riad, such a lovely place to come back to after a busy day exploring Marrakech. I also really appreciated all the helpful advice and local tips, especially on how to navigate the Medina and deal with some of its little “shenanigans” 😂. Those tips definitely came in handy! Thank you again to Said and the whole team for your kindness, hospitality and for making my stay so enjoyable. I would absolutely stay here again.

We were welcomed even before arriving at the riad by the most attentive host we found in Marrakech. Lahcen definitely knows how to engage his guests; he is a problem solver and someone I would trust to show me around the city. The staff was also very friendly! The riad is located in a quiet part of the medina—perhaps not the most picturesque—but it is only a ten-minute walk from the most attractive spots, such as the Youssef Medersa, the Marrakech Museum, the Perfume Museum, and the most vibrant souks and small squares. The riad also has an inviting rooftop and a quiet game room, where I spent quite some time, as I was traveling with my mom and we both appreciated having some time to ourselves. I loved the fact there were so many plants at the terrace and rooftop.

I found the room a bit dark due to the small windows and the dark ceiling, but I think this is a common characteristic of some traditional riads.

It was all lovely, just a note that it’s around 15-20 minute walk to the main square which was fine for us

The staff was amazing and the home was beautiful. But three things need improvement. One the beds. They were hard like tables and it was painful to sleep in them. Second the bathroom had a sewer smell which I’m Sure has to do with the fact the house is old. And the third was that the door to our room was right in front of the breakfast area and we could hear everything. We also heard the alarm clock of the people in the room right across from us. I guess it’s all part of the riad experience but the mattress can DEFINITELY be improved.
