The White Elephant Home

We arrived here pretty exhausted - we'd just done an overnight train, had an unexpected hospital visit, and had already changed hotel rooms once because we weren't happy with the first place. And then we got here and honestly, it was such a dream. The whole energy of our family just lifted the second we walked into the room. The people who own it were incredibly lovely from the start. The room itself was beautiful and so welcoming, with gorgeous teak furniture and really comfortable beds. There was a little seating area just outside where we sat painting in the garden space, and in the evenings once the kids were asleep we'd just sit out there, quiet and peaceful. It was so well placed too - close to a night market with really great food options, easy evenings sorted. Breakfast was tasty, and they even brought out food for our baby without us asking, which was such a lovely touch. We turned up completely worn out and left feeling restored. Honestly one of the best stays of our whole trip.

We received excellent service standards (very personalised touch e.g they remember our food preferences) from the staff at White Elephant. Room size were better than expected, toilet and shower was quite the norm. Love the resort concept of this place and the laundrette accessibility just 30 metres away!

Lighting may be abit dimmer for our preference.

Room and bed were perfect, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. Staff could not have been more professional and helpful in any way. I would come back in a heartbeat. 10/10!
