SHIN Hostel Changphuak ChiangMai

Overall, my experience here was very good. The staff were a highlight. Very friendly, welcoming, and genuine people. It is relatively quiet here, and a good location. In terms of outdoor space, there are undercover seating options. - I was able to find sheltered space for my Yuan QiGong practice whilst it was raining. I would like to offer some constructive feedback: This was my first experience using electronic doors with a pin number. I feel this is something neutral. However, what doesn't seem logical to me is that we need to enter the pin code to get out of the room as well. I see this as a safety compromization in emergency times, otherwise a minor inconvenience. For me, and I imagine for others, especially on our first day or first few days where we haven't memorized the door code, this can be more of an issue. Upon arrival we need to scan a code, Whatsapp, Facebook, line, or wechat, upon which the admin sends us details for the stay, and all communication about checking in and checking out, from towel replacement, is done via these channels. There is one bathroom in the room and one outside the room. One time I wanted to go out in the night, but I had to open my phone to find the code in the WhatsApp chat before I could leave the room. Again, minor inconvenience, but I see this as a potential safety threat in an emergency situation, and I felt I could bring this to your attention through my review. I am not sure the reason why the doors are set up that way exactly. Whether they came like that from the factory or were intentionally designed this way for the hostel/hotel. My feedback is that it would be better to be able to exit the room with a simple push of the door, or a door handle. On the whole, my stay here has been very pleasant — thank you so much ❤️ I hope my feedback helps you ✨ 💖 🌟🌟🌟

Staff are friendly and location is accessible. ☺️

The staff are exceptionally kind and helpful. Unfortunately the owners don't want to spend money on maintenancehence, broken chairs, not enough culturally, bathrooms need work. Too many people squished in a dorm room with one bathroom. You are kept awake by the door continually beeping as people come and go. A massive Thank you to the all the staff who were always smiling and willing to help

Valuable price But bad experience for very noisy night, I can hear everythings outside my room also the 2nd floor. I woke up because other customers walk pass my room all night Car park is limited only 1-2 cars You may have to move your car if the inner one wants to go out
