Hotel Sabina

Inside room was clean and renovated.

The hotel looks reasonable. It's like a little time capsule. Takes you back to the 1990s, which is a great experience.

there were many shops around so we could pop in and get whatever we needed,there was a bus stop near and we really liked that there was a beach near

we think it would be nice for a refurbishment (we understand that it’s and affordable place) we also think that it would be nice if they made it more lively!

Liked that very close to hotel was some grocery stores and it was like a little center of that district. As I was expecting not much from hotel in that area of city, actually, the room was quite cosy. As we just wanted to go for a more wild adventures at the beach in this season of cold weather, this hotel was perfectly fitting for the mood. Good that you can park a car near the hotel. Great that there was an electric teapot in the room with glasses and some cutlery.

Strange and quite a strong smell in corridors (the mix of smelling cigarettes, kitchen smells and some strange disinfectant). It was a luck, that in room we didn't feel it so much. Of course, that area is very far from center of Riga, but if you need that part (Bolderaja) of the city, this hotel it seems is almost only option there. Quite noisy place on the street at night, but for us it wasn't a problem as we don't care about that. Not the best place if you look for a big comfort, but some adventures in that part of Riga fits quite good.
