Perfect location for pre cruise stay

Very close to Trieste Cruise Terminal even by walking. Well equipped in everything include some groceries and food for us. Air conditioning is good.

It will be great if there is tumble dryer on top of the washing machine.

A lovely apartment - we would be happy to stay there again.

Very friendly host although we needed to phone them on arrival. Very well stocked (don't go shopping before you check what is provided in the fridge!). Nice spacious apartment in typical 1900's(?) block. (Beware the man/lady lurking in the alcove behind the bathroom!)

Lacks a view. Glass elevator to top floor might not be to everyone's liking but there are good wide flights of stairs. We travelled by train (15 minute walk from station) so cannot comment about car parking.

An artistic, quiet apartment in an ideal location for Trieste social life.

An flat with careful artistic furnishing in a tremendous location for Trieste social life, but very quiet inside the flat. A wide range of breakfast items were offered free. Carlo met us on arrival, waiting patiently when we were a little late. The second sofa bed is high quality, like a real bed. Strong wi-fi.

Great location with so many extras

Apartment was very well stocked with what you would hope to have plus heaps of extras. We appreciated the wine, pasta, sauce, yogurt and everything else.

it had everything I needed to enjoy Trieste

This was a very well equipped clean and comfortable apartment. It is in a lively but safe area and very quiet at night.

A comfortable quiet place in a good location.

The location was good in that it was half a block away from a pedestrian walking street that has several eating places. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare breakfast; we ate out in the evenings. Tourist information brochers were available on site. Communication was good to meet the person with the keys at the building entrance. Because we were on the 4th floor, we were glad the building had an efficient elevator. A bus stop was conveniently across the street.

As someone of average height and weight, the shower was sufficient but a little small. A very large person may find it tight.

Great basic accommodation in a superb location at an excellent price.

The host was easy to communicate with and was very helpful in arranging Covid tests at a local pharmacy. He also accommodated our request for a late checkout. In addition, he provided useful tourist information (brochures, maps, etc,) and basic breakfast needs to get our stay off to a good start. The location is close to the main square and two blocks from the port. All the basics to prepare meals were available. Having a washer is a bonus.

great location; nice apartment

The location was perfect, the apartment was nice (so close to the water, the pier for the beautiful sunsets, and right next to one of the main pedestrian walkways with lots of restaurants and bars - but also a very quiet place). The apartment was a bit better than I expected in that it was brighter than the photos. The host was very nice, waited for us to arrive (a little late), provided a bunch of snacks/breakfast food, and helped me with questions about the apartment.

I was initially expecting some specific recommendations on restaurants or places I must visit, etc., but I did not really need it as I had already spent some time in Trieste. I'm sure I could have gotten more help if needed.

An absolute gem!

Absolutely fabulous. The flat is compact but everything is so well thought-out. The place was spotlessly clean with a great shower and so quiet despite being in the heart of Trieste. The hosts are communicative and generous - if only all accommodation was like this, the world would be a better place. I would definitely stay here again if I came back to the city.

Exceptional

This is one of the best holiday apartments I have ever stayed at! It is bigger than expected, there was more than enough room for four of us (parents + daughters aged 16 and 11). Beautifully decorated, you feel like you are living in someonés home, not in a rental property. For us even the so-called 'disadvantages' were part of what makes this place so special: It is true that there is no parking and you have to park in a garage - but this is the price of ideal location in the center of town :-) It is true that the bathroom is through the bedroom, but the rooms are very big and it didn't feel intrusive at all. Urlaub in gemütlicher Mansarde in perfekter Lage zur Erkundung von Triest

Mansarda 23 ist eine gemütliche ruhige Dachwohnung im 4. Stock eines ruhig gelegenen Stadthauses mit Lift. Das Appartment liegt sehr günstig nahe Hafen, Busstation, Rathausplatz, Museo Revoltella, Castello San Giusto .... und ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen Urlaub zur Selbstversorgung braucht. Es waren auch einige Vorräte vorhanden, die wir verbrauchen durften - danke! Als Heizung (Februar) dient die Klimaanlage, deren zeitliche Programmierung man vielleicht auch ändern könnte (morgens später?). Im Schlafzimmer ist ein sehr geräumiger Schrank, auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt geeignet. Am Bett flexible günstige Leselampen. Die Schlüsselübergabe ist unkompliziert und Carlo war per Whats App erreichbar.

Am ersten Morgen hat mich der E-Boiler für das Warmwasser zeitig geweckt, der sich leider hinter den Betten befindet (Bad). Da mussten wir dann Ohropax einsetzen. Aber vielleicht kann man die Aufwärmzeit ändern? Das Bad ist etwas eng. Die Matratze war mir etwas zu hart. Es wäre noch hilfreich, wenn die Mülleimer zur einfacheren Mülltrennung schon beschriftet wären: Plastik, (Aluminium), Bio, Papier, Restmüll, (Glas) Insgesamt haben wir uns aber sehr wohl gefühlt.

Perfekter Aufenthalt in Triest

Top Lage, sehr netter Gastgeber, sehr schönes Apartment! Wir durften die Fahrräder ins Apartment mitnehmen. Die Klimaanlage war absolut notwendig und großartig im Juli, es war immer angenehm kühl in der Wohnung.

nos dejaron un desayuno para cuatro personas por dos dias. Muchos detalles. Mermeladas, mantequilla, nutella, crackers. galletas leche, yogur, café etc. El baño con todos los productos de baño la ubicación genial cerca de todo en pleno centro y cerca del mar. Gemütlich und komfortabel!

Die Unterkunft war liebevoll gestaltet. Mit gefüllten Kühlschrank, Nespresso Maschine mit Kapseln, Tee, Spaghetti, etc.

Die Matratzen im Wohnraum waren hart.

Absolut empfehlenswert!

Die Lage ist sehr zentral, alles ist leicht zu Fuß erreichbar. Die umgebenden Straßen bieten eine große Auswahl an Bars, Restaurants und Geschäften aller Art. Im Kühlschrank war eine Grundausstattung fürs Frühstück - Milch, Saft, Joghurt, Marmelade etc und natürlich reichlich Kaffee.

War ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt mitten in einer schönen Stadt. Die Wohnung kann man nur empfehlen.

Mitten in der Stadt und doch sehr ruhig. Gut, dass es auch einen Aufzug gibt. Die Schlüsselübergabe war völlig unkompliziert. Das Auto konnte man gut in einer nahe gelegenen Tiefgarage abstellen.
