Cute, clean, convenient location to base your stay in Aviemore.

The property was adorable. It is at the end of a short street and an easy and enjoyable walk into town.

I liked everything about the property. The only thing we didn't really like is that the owners, who are also the staff, made us feel a little bit uncomfortable. Nothing dangerous or threatening or anything like that but just gave us an awkward feeling.

Great camping pod close to centre

The pod was great and liked it was en-suite. The bothy area was great to eat in and we used it lots. Appreciated the fridge and all the equipment there.

Great B&B in lovely location

The hosts Ken and Gill were lovely, the room comfortable and shower the best on our holiday so far. Breakfast was delicious and the location made it easy to walk into town.

Excellent quiet location that is easily accessible on foot and by public transport right in the centre of town. Gracious hosts and a wonderful setup for everyone from walkers and climbers through to those there on business.

Amazing apart from the shower

Amazing breakfast, apart from the gluten free bread was a pretty dry and I couldn't toast it as there was no dedicated gluten free toaster for my celiac allergy but I appreciate the fact they actually had some gf bread when most places don't and everything else was amazing but wouldn't been better if breakfast was included instead of an extra charge. Coffee machine was a nice touch, homemade berry compote with natural yoghurt and plenty of tea options at breakfast very attentive and considerate staff, lovely decor very clean.

The bread at breakfast too dry and couldn't toast it. The shower was really bad probably the worst I've ever used took ages getting the temperature right if you turned just a tiny bit it would go from being red hot to cold and wasn't very powerful. Bed could've been comfier, a smart TV would've been better as the TV signal wasn't great.

Lovely spot with great owners

We were welcomed by the owners who immediately made us feel at ease and were clearly very and rightly proud of their home and its guest facilities. The room was lovely and comfortable, with a bird feeder right by the window. The breakfast room/lounge is comfortable with lots of natural light, it would be easy to sot there all morning digesting the wonderful homemade breakfast. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely glamping pods with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing and unique getaway

Gorgeous glamping pods in a central location with excellent facilities (including a BBQ for each pod.) We were lucky enough to make a last minute booking when our weekend camping plans fell through and we’re so glad they did - Eriskay is a comfortable, relaxing setting and the hosts Ken and Gill were lovely and accommodating. Thanks again!!

My family and I stayed for one night at this lovely small family-hotel, and we absolutely enjoyed our stay. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff made us feel right at home. The breakfast was delicious, especially the traditional Scottish options, and the coffee was excellent — rich and full of flavor.

Breakfast was excellent. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. Our hosts were very welcoming and nothing seemed difficult. Whilst Eriskay is in the middle of Aviemore, the location felt private and was very quiet. Aviemore, as always, is an excellent jump off point for the delights of the Cairngorm National Park.

Glampods for Cairngorms exploration

Staying in a glamping pod is a kind of adventure, but pod's have almost all, if not more, than good hotel room. You just need to be a little smart as people designed it. Pods are cosy and well equipped. If something is not there, you will find it in the boothy or common room. Place is located in a side of the main road, so it's calm and silent. You can easily walk to all the shops. Owners are very friendly and helpful. You can feel like in your own yard! Highly recommended as a base to explore Cairngorms.

Gill and Ken were amazing and so welcoming. They anticipated our needs and offered every kindness to make our stay enjoyable.

The pods were located in the front garden of Gill and Kens suburban home which was a surprise. They have thoughtfully placed the pods and a little bothy for getting together in their pretty garden.

Eriskay was one of the best places we stayed over our 3 weeks in Scotland! Ken and Jill were both inspiring, enthusiastic, and really fun hosts. The pods were immaculate and well stocked. The bed was especially comfortable, plugs were available your devices, a specialized coffee maker at hand, and both good lighting and privacy window shades inside. We had a grill available to us next to our pod and all the kitchen equipment you could use located was available in a common-area Brothy. This inviting Brothy was a really great area for meeting and getting to know other guests as well, which is always one of the more enjoyable aspects of travel. If you don't want to make your AM breakfast here, then don't hesitate to enjoy their home-cooked Scottish breakfast with the most amazing fresh baked goodies made by Jill herself. Ken went over the top in making sure we were satisfied with every little facet of our stay. Excellent location; minutes from Cairngorm hikes, multiple options for in-town supplies, coffee houses, etc.

Be aware that the shower is quite small and contained within the toilet area. This wasn't a problem for us (so not really a "don't like" since it's very practical), but for larger people, may be difficult to negotiate showering. It got a bit "steamy" inside when damp or raining due to how airtight the pods are; again not a "don't like", but something, again, to be aware of as you may need to leave the door open for a while. That said, it never got cold inside; always quite comfy in fact.
