Short break

Spotless apartment and very cosy and warm. Fabulous location to access the beach, town and coastal path. The armchairs were super comfy. Bonus to have a parking space.

We were a little disappointed at no 'welcome back' - no pint of milk to make a cuppa after a long drive, especially as other guests had mentioned scones and jam! No local information available in a folder or anything either. We also had to hunt for the WiFi password which we eventually found on a scrap of paper in a cupboard. Whilst the positives of the apartment outweighed these 'niggles' a pint of milk, some local information and the WiFi code by the router would have been most welcome.

Comfortable base in a fantastic location.

West Bay is lovely, therefore fantastic location, lovely walks from the door. Very comfortable to both relax and sleep. Facilities were good, i.e. separate fridge and freezer, washing machine, airers, etc. Lovely, friendly Fish and Chip Shop two minutes from the property.

Parking. We were lucky no one was in Flat No.2; therefore I had the space to manoeuvre, but otherwise very tight and I would worry my car would be damaged if they were not careful. Note for Owner: Front door lock needs some attention - salt corrosion, managed to unlock from inside, lock from outside, but couldn’t unlock from outside, therefore had to use the back door. Note for Cottages.com: Mobile Number to ring for entry details was incorrect. Owner had informed you of the change, therefore notes need updating. Luckily managed to ring on his land line, which was also provided.

Cosy flat with great amenities.

Cosy, comfortable flat with great amenities. The cream tea on arrival was a lovely touch. The owners were very accommodating re us coming earlier than expected. They answered my messages quickly.

The parking is very tight. Good to have a visitors space though as we had two cars The owners never answered any questions through the Booking.com app but were great once I messaged direct.

West Bay in February.

A most enjoyable stay. The facilities were spot on. The accommodation was comfortable, clean, and centrally located. We had more beach time and cliff top walks than we expected this time of year. Thank you very much.

A lovely place

Seadrift was a really well appointed place to stay. Comfortable, clean with excellent beds. A superking bed was a real bonus. A very well equipped kitchen. Thank you for the scones, cream and jam on arrival. A lovely touch. Would definitely book again. Great communication with the hosts for key collection. Thank you for a wonderful 2 day stay.

Fantastic little place near the sea. Recommended!

Sea Drift is a lovely little place; we had practically everything we needed. Great location in beautiful West Bay, near the sea. And there were loads of beautiful and interesting places to visit around the area. We had a lovely hot, powerful shower! And a huge bed! And it was really warm and very quiet. Thank you for the lovely treat of a cream tea, freshly made scones, clotted cream and jam, and a nice cuppa when we arrived. It was fantastic having a free parking space right opposite the flat. We really enjoyed fish and chips from the chip shop next door and we had a lovely meal at the George Hotel. Ice creams and cakes from West Bay are also delicious! (This place would suit somebody with walking difficulties or even a wheelchair user. There are no steps or high thresholds and just a small lip on the very large shower. I'm keen to advertise this because we always find it hard to find a place to stay with our adult son who is a wheelchair user (he was not with us this time). The shower is large enough to have room for a chair an assistant but you'd need to bring a shower stool/chair with you and a larger non-slip mat. We would certainly consider this place for our disabled son to visit.)

What's not to like? There is no garden or balcony but we knew that before we came, so if you want that - go somewhere else! And with the weather we had, we wouldn't have used it anyway. It would have been nice to have some oven gloves, but that's being very picky and that's all! No complaints! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great stay in West Bay

Property was lovely, clean and tidy. Light and airy feel. Scones on arrival and proper jug of milk was a lovely added touch. The Property was perfect for our getaway

Location wasn't quite as we'd expected. Felt like we needed to keep main curtains closed as overlooked by the car park and bathroom window right by the road wasn't the most private.

Close to beaches, harbour and local pubs and restaurants. Comfortable apartment with good facilities.

Could do with a light over the dining table and some sound insulation in the boiler cupboard.

The sitting area is a little dark but this did not bother us as we were out for most of the day.

Location is great. Everything that was needed was there. Great for a short stay in the winter. Lovely welcome of scones and tea.

The lack of ecological cleaning products and soap. Only 1 toilet roll provided.
