Lovely older cottage, quiet location
Lovely little older cottage conversion, quiet, great location on Clyde estuary. Beds very comfy. Private parking. Extensive gardens- but the cottage access to the shore is a bit difficult. Owners friendly and responsive.
We couldn’t open the windows in the twin bedroom or en-suite bathroom, and there was no extractor fan. Hot weather. The living room is a bit cramped, with only 3 chairs. It needs a sofa and armchairs for better comfort. The dining table and chairs are older conservatory style and take up a lot of room - a smaller, neater set up would help. Plumbing is a bit erratic. Cottage needs a bit of an upgrade in general IMO.

It was cosy. Very warm / plenty of hot water etc. Kitchen was very well equipped. Chairs comfy. View of the River Clyde was exceptional.
Only 3 lounging chairs in living room. Beds were okay but headboards less so. But these are very minor issues.

A lovely relaxing week in a very comfortable cottage.

Fabuleux ! Un merveilleux endroit, calme , au bord du lac ..
Le lieu, magnifique vue sur le lac, jardin magnifique, cottage très très bien agencé et décoré, avec goût. Super calme. Hôtes accueillants.. proche du Loch Lomond , et direct pour Glasgow..un lieu qui nous offre le meilleur de l'Ecosse. Si nous revenons en Écosse, nous reviendrons ici, c'était tout simplement merveilleux..
