The Chands Boutique Villa Absolutely divine! What an incredible villa, location right on the beach & the service was unbelievable. Where do I start… first by saying you won’t regret booking there and I will be back!! The 2 story villa is so spacious and beautiful. All 3 bedrooms are huge with oversized and stunning ensuites. The pool on the second level is the best - with ocean views and a lovely pergola and sun beds. Breakfast included daily with incredible selection and amount of food. The cappuccinos were delicious!! Do the floating breakfast in the pool! You won’t be disappointed. We did it twice! Nothing like eating breakfast in the pool at 7:30am - my kids thought it was the best!! The villa had a spa room where you could get a couples message in (we did and it was fabulous) - or they would come to your villa if you preferred. They also had a free shuttle to Seminyak village. The reception was 24-7 via WhatsApp and everyone was so friendly and welcoming! Right on the beach was great - right next to the W hotel and <5 min walk along the beach to Potato Head. Not far from Mari beach club (5 min walk) & a 5 min drive to Atlas Beach Club. Other Seminyak recos : Restaurants : Ling Ling, Hog Wild, Beachfront @ Potato Head, Mamasan (worth it!!) Beach clubs : Atlas (the best!!! Enjoyed with the family. Book front row surf side daybeds overlooking the big pool. You won’t regret); Mari Beach Club was a very different vibe to Atlas and very chill with cool music. It was nice for the sunset view but for the minimum spend ask it was a bit of a rip off. Day spa : Bodyworks! Stunning! Take your camera! And book ahead!!

However, it is the very north of Seminyak, classified as Canggu so we found getting motorbikes was a lot quicker because Seminyak traffic is the worse, and the way the road connected to the north before heading south into Seminyak.

The staff are its treasure chest they are All crew 5 stars. Swimming pool ‘view is lovely’ As was sunset across road. Location is good, if happy to walk on beach difficult by road. Lots of traffic Great for friends get together Breakfast is simple but fine The new path & new beach front restaurants opening, will make it a hot spot in a year or so.

There was a fair walk to town - but it was worth the walk to go to sleep to the sound of the waves, and to have the sea view and quick access to the sunset bars on the beach

The property is noticeably aged and in need of updates. The air conditioning was non-functional, the flooring creaked with every step, and the water had a high salinity level, leaving the skin feeling dry. The photos online are old and not up to date

We loved the location as the view of the sunsets were spectacular and the breeze was beautiful on a humid day. The staff were just wonderful and Anik was a beautiful soul that knew all our names and coordinated the staff with her professional and efficient manner.

The property is due for a bit of a face lift but still in good order. Transport was a hassle during the Christmas period and at times just took way too long to get from A to B.

We stayed there for our honeymoon, the decoration, welcome drink and fruit basket was so adorable. The villa was so clean and the ocean view was stunning. I asked them how can I suprise my husband in his birthday during the stay and the stuff came to our villa with a cake in their hands, accompanied by a birthday song, it was so nice. In addition the location is perfect, its close all the good restaurants and beach clubs. Thank you for everything, I recommend this place %100. 🤩❤️

Nothing At All

The 2 bed villa was absolutely lovely! It suited our family perfectly. Our villa pool was so good to relax around. The staff are so friendly & will help sort anything & everything you need. We enjoyed our ‘included breakfast’ at the beach front Cantina each day which was very beautiful. The fridge had cold filtered water which we used to constantly refill our water bottles. Walking in to Seminyak was an enjoyable experience too. Our entire experience was fabulous. Thank you.

Loved the morning breakfast and how friendly the staff was. Anything we needed we would let our amazing staff know and they were right on it. Jumped up to greet us when we would get home for the day with a smile

No complaints. We were very impressed. It was a little bumpy on the road along the water to get to and from the villa every day but that’s not on the villa.

Great location. Service was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond, making the trip extra special. We could watch the sunset from our own villa. This is rather unique. The Villa was clean and it was great having a few options for drinks and food close by.

I can’t recommend this villa enough! For starters the photos don’t do this villa justice, the room, kitchen, bathroom, pool and outdoor area were all beautiful and exceeded our expectations. It is located in the most central area, walking distance to everything we hoped for, beach clubs and restaurants etc. The staff are absolutely incredible, the whole team are beautiful and so accommodating for all your needs, they keep the villa very clean and they even sang to me on my birthday with a cake and bunch of florals. I will definitely be staying here again.

Service was awesome, staff were contactable thru WhatsApp and helped in every way possible. Villa was quite impressive and you're literally at the beach. Bathroom was awesome- there was a skylight window so the sun shines in.

Facilities were a little worn, sink didn't really drain well etc. But let the staff know and they'll do something about it.

Location is great, private pool and plenty of room. Lots of restaurants right out front (warungs). Staff very happy to assist with whatever is needed, including grocery delivery.

Property is a bit run down, needs some love - nothing major, just small things. Staff were great though and fixed straight away when we pointed things out. Traffic is bad, best to walk through W hotel (next door) and get a grab/taxi from there.

The beautiful staff were just exceptional. Nothing was a trouble for them - always so helpful. The location was the best. The Villa was perfect for us with great facilities. Two bedrooms both had their own bathroom which was perfect. Great layout and the pool with a view to the ocean was sensational. To hear the ocean while having private drinks around our pool was perfect. A walk to great cafes restaurants and shopping and the beach is right there!

The traffic in Bali is still bad.

The front office staff were incredible and helped with everything we needed. Villa was spacious, beautiful and in a great location.

It’s slightly outdated in areas but nothing that would deter us from another stay.

The location was idyllic. Batu Balig is at the end of a dusty pot holed road to paradise that doesn't have the traffic you'd expect in Bali. Right on the beachfront and a swag of shanty restaurants at your doorstep. Anik kept in contact with Whattsapp so anything we needed was organised straight away. Loved being greeted warmly every morning coming down for a swim or breakfast. Have stayed in many villas but by far the best and most relaxing and welcoming stay.
