The cottage itself was amazing and the location was stunning with breathtaking views. The owner was very kind and welcoming and made us feel very much at home.
This is my personal view but I found the mattress very uncomfortable and could not get a proper rest.

Beautiful, peaceful location overlooking a valley. Cottage was well equipped with kitchen equipment, mutiple towels, throws and blankets.
Only bathroom/toilet was up steep stairs which is more suited to those who are mobile.

We liked the peace and quiet of the location. We never tired of the wonderful view from the terrace of the river Rother and Oxney beyond. There was everything we needed in the cottage.
It didn’t bother us but the kilometre unmade track from the road to the cottage has to be taken slowly and carefully.
