Apartments Rovinj Duplex

The location was beautiful. A peaceful yet central part of Rovinj. The apartment was cool with the air conditioning on. Bed was comfy. The windows were double glazed and when shut it meant we couldn't really hear any outside noise at night and the shutters meant it was very dark which was good too.

There were quite a lot of things that could have been better. The host was OK though rather brusque manner in the way they sent messages. A welcome book with instructions on how to use things like the TV (we never worked out how to use it) would have been really welcome. I've never stayed in an apartment where there wasn't one. I felt like I kept having to ask about things because of this and felt uncomfortable. Especially as quite a few things weren't clear. One of the main reasons I picked the apartment was because it had a washing machine and dryer. Rovinj was our last stop on our holiday and I knew we'd need to wash our clothes. However, when I asked about the washing machine it wasn't working. I appreciate these things happen but the owner shrugged it off saying it's hard to get a plumber and directed me to a launderette. The main front door key was hard to use. I found the main door had been left unlocked twice by other people renting the other apartment - probably by accident because the key was so tricky. I asked about this too but it didn't get resolved satisfactorily. If booking apartments Rovinj please make sure you understand which apartment you are booking. The main image on the website of a lovely bright living space is the upstairs apartment. I thought I'd booked that, but it turned out it hadn't. My mistake, but the living quarters (which is basically a kitchen and bathroom) for the downstairs apartment are dark and a bit unwelcoming. Perfectly adequate but not what I would have picked if I'd realised. The apartment upstairs had several different groups staying during our stay. They were all lovely and not noisy at all, however the floorboards upstairs mean it's quite loud when people walk about, etc. It sounded like a heard of elephants sometimes and I think maybe there was a sofa bed or something that needed to be pulled out each night? Anyway, the noise from this was pretty loud.

The apartment is located not far from the center

It's a little old, some details could be improved, there is no light on the table, no microwave, the bathroom fan is noisy and a little dirty, the shower handle is broken. Then, be advised that to park the car around Rovinj costs from 3.50 to 4.00 per hour, night included, and to find better rates you have to park far away.

Die Fotos bei booking stimmen nicht mit der Realität überein! Laut Fotos gibt es zwei gleich große Schlafzimmer und eine schöne größzügige Küche! Es gab ein Doppelzimmer und ein winzig kleines Zimmer mit einem kleinen Bett. Von der Eingangstür stand man sofort in der Küche. Klimaanlage gab es nur im Vorraum sodass man beide Türen OFFEN lassen musste!? Weiters ist die Parksituation katastrophal. Der empfohlene Parkplatz kostet pro 24 € 84,00!!!! Es gibt weiter hinten zwei große Parkplätze mit €25,00 das hätte uns die Vermieterin sagen müssen. Sie hat uns auf Nachfragen einen noch weiter weg gelegenen Parkplatz empfohlen der gratis ist wo man aber nicht parken dürfte und der nicht überwacht war. Das mit dem Parkplatz sollte besser kommuniziert werden da man so für zwei Tage 160,00 zahlt! ausserdem ist der permanent überfüllt!
