Villa Ariella is a fabulous place to stay. We had a great family holiday there for two weeks in September. The villa is large and very comfortably furnished. There is really everything there that you could need for a fun and relaxing holiday. We have stayed in many villas across Europe over the last 20 years and this is one of our favourites. The pool and gardens provide great outdoor space to relax in, and the views out to sea and the sunsets are wonderful.
The hosts are great too - Ritsa was super helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Great communication before and during our stay and she really thinks of the small things that make the villa feel luxurious - simple things like soaps, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls all there when you arrive and topped up by the cleaner during our stay. Really thoughtful and welcoming - as were the drinks and fresh fruit in the fridge when you arrive. The villa was spotless and the cleaner who visits does a great job too.
For families with kids, the secure grounds and electric gated access means children can explore the outside and play crazy golf without wandering off. The outdoor exercise equipment was well used by some of our group too - too energetic for me though! The gardens are beautifully maintained, very private and not overlooked in any way.
There is easy access to Chania, Agia Marina and plenty of nearby eateries, but hiring a car is advisable as the walk into Agia is steep in parts - though the buses from Agia Marina into Chania if you prefer not to drive into Chania town itself are regular.
Our thanks to Ritsa and Giannis - we had a great stay and we hope to stay there again when we next visit Chania.

Vi havde to fantastiske uger i Villa Ariella. Udlejere var utroligt imødekommende og hjælpsomme. Villaen har en vidunderlig udsigt. Der er alt, man skal bruge. Vi vil med glæde besøge den igen, og vi vil varmt anbefale den.

Vue incroyable. Tranquille. Silencieux. Confortable. Spacieux. Pas chère. Bien équipée. Bien située : à côté de tous les restaurants et activités mais au calme en retrait. Hôte super disponible

Bit of a drive up to the high hill but so worth it as the views to the sea and mountains are great! Property is well taken care of, very spacious and comfy. Loved also the large pool and outside terasses on two sides and property is very private. There is also little outside gym to use, which we only did on couple of days as it was bit too hot weather 😅Hosts are very lovely and friendly, and kindly bought some groceries beforehand I had asked for as we arrived late in the evening. Communication was easy with them also during the stay. I can highly recommend Villa Ariella if you wish to have a relaxing holiday in beautiful location!
Only little thing was the fact that the microwave oven didn´t work, but then again, we didn´t really need to use it. Also the cleaning lady had left some trash and equipment in the middle of the living room, but I assume she just forgot when she was leaving.
