A wonderful relaxing villa holiday in a beautiful location - we hope to return one day.

Villa Ariella is a fabulous place to stay. We had a great family holiday there for two weeks in September. The villa is large and very comfortably furnished. There is really everything there that you could need for a fun and relaxing holiday. We have stayed in many villas across Europe over the last 20 years and this is one of our favourites. The pool and gardens provide great outdoor space to relax in, and the views out to sea and the sunsets are wonderful. The hosts are great too - Ritsa was super helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Great communication before and during our stay and she really thinks of the small things that make the villa feel luxurious - simple things like soaps, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls all there when you arrive and topped up by the cleaner during our stay. Really thoughtful and welcoming - as were the drinks and fresh fruit in the fridge when you arrive. The villa was spotless and the cleaner who visits does a great job too. For families with kids, the secure grounds and electric gated access means children can explore the outside and play crazy golf without wandering off. The outdoor exercise equipment was well used by some of our group too - too energetic for me though! The gardens are beautifully maintained, very private and not overlooked in any way. There is easy access to Chania, Agia Marina and plenty of nearby eateries, but hiring a car is advisable as the walk into Agia is steep in parts - though the buses from Agia Marina into Chania if you prefer not to drive into Chania town itself are regular. Our thanks to Ritsa and Giannis - we had a great stay and we hope to stay there again when we next visit Chania.

Wonderful villa with super views to the sea and large pool.

Bit of a drive up to the high hill but so worth it as the views to the sea and mountains are great! Property is well taken care of, very spacious and comfy. Loved also the large pool and outside terasses on two sides and property is very private. There is also little outside gym to use, which we only did on couple of days as it was bit too hot weather 😅Hosts are very lovely and friendly, and kindly bought some groceries beforehand I had asked for as we arrived late in the evening. Communication was easy with them also during the stay. I can highly recommend Villa Ariella if you wish to have a relaxing holiday in beautiful location!

Only little thing was the fact that the microwave oven didn´t work, but then again, we didn´t really need to use it. Also the cleaning lady had left some trash and equipment in the middle of the living room, but I assume she just forgot when she was leaving.

Excellent villa

Villa offers great privacy, beautiful sea views and really nice rooms and bathrooms. Only little minus is the hardness of the beds. Host Ritsa and her son Christos were super lovely and helpful. I can highly recommend yhis villa for your Cretan holidays! We had wonderful time 🩷

Selection of drinking glasses could be better. BBQ looked great, but was hard to get it going because of lack of holes in the bottom of it. These are minor things, but just a couple of comments on how to make things even better. Hope you don’t mind me saying!

The stay was amazing the villa is beautiful and very home from home, clean and very comfortable.

The villa was a little more than walking distance to the beach and amenities as initially described in the villa description, the walk down was okay but to walk back would be too much due to the inclines, taxis back to the villa were a must but not cheap. The pool was really cold and we were unable to use it due to this, but the seating and space around the pool and stunning views made up for this.

Really lovely villa

The villa was big with an en suite for each room, it was very clean and we were even given a bottle of wine and some snacks by the owners. It’s a really peaceful location and a short drive to some lovely restaurants.

Everything was excellent. The villa is perfect for families with kids. Looks better in real, that on the pictures. There are everything you need. The rooms and showers are clean. The hostesses is very generous and kind. Defenetly recommended!!! The view is amazing.

Amazing

We stayed at villa ariella in agia marina crete for 7 days in September 2019. All 8 guys from us had enough place to sleep, we had 4 bathroom which is high appreciated and much place to eat together in in and outside. The pool is so nice and very fine if you wake up and don‘t like to go directly to the beach. The house was 100% clean after we arrived and also in middle of our stay we get a cleaning so 10 stars for the cleaning! The house if very comfortable and at outside were enough place for our cars which we rent at the airport. The villa have a nice view to the sea, its amazing to wake up and see the blue sea with the waves. Really near to agia marina and also a lot if restaurant near to the villa. It was our first time in greece but definitivly not the last, thank you so much!! We‘ll give you 10 stars for the house and for you guys!
