We spent two wonderful weeks at El Platanias, and from the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything exceeded our expectations. The villa was spotless, beautifully designed, spacious, and equipped with absolutely everything we needed. It genuinely felt like a home rather than just holiday accommodation. The private pool, outdoor areas, and attention to detail made it difficult to leave the villa each morning. What truly made our stay exceptional, however, was the hospitality. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, kind, and always available whenever we needed anything, while still giving us complete privacy. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests and take great pride in what they’ve created. The location was also perfect, peaceful yet only minutes away from the beach, restaurants, supermarkets, and everything Platanias has to offer. It was an ideal base for exploring western Crete while still enjoying complete relaxation. We travel frequently, and it’s rare to find a place where every little detail has been thought through so carefully. El Platanias is one of those places that makes you start planning your next visit before you’ve even checked out. Thank you for an unforgettable holiday. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, and genuinely welcoming place to stay in Crete. We will definitely be back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Nothing worth mentioning. Everything was exactly as described, and the hosts made our stay effortless from start to finish.

The apartment was nicely decorated, very clean and had everything you would need. Additional touches were toiletries and beach towels. Apartment lovely and cool, didn't need to turn on the air con despite it bring very hot outside. Lovely property and very comfortable.

Falsely advertised as having a private pool. It is not private, as you have to SHARE the pool with other guests in the other 2 bed apartment. This needs to be corrected and made clearer on your advert as we would never had booked it had we known it was shared with other guests. It was the main reason we booked this property and it ruined our holiday as we had to go out everyday. Also, construction work. Although this is beyond your control, it should have been declared. 2 sets both making noise very early morning. One directly overlooking the pool and another a few houses away. Video of noise taken. Builders overlooking pool kept staring at me sunbathing in my bikini making me too uncomfortable and another reason to not want to use it.
