Cretan Blu Platanias

The breakfast was excellent, made from fresh ingredients we had bought at a nearby store. The location was very convenient, placed strategically in a quiet area on a hill, less than ten minutes walk from the main street in Platanias. The pool was big, with clean water (changed daily) and jacuzzi. The view overlooking the town below and the sea with the mountains in the background was spectacular. But the most amazing discovery was our host. This pleasant gentleman, named Giorgis, greeted us as we arrived with a freshly made spanakopita and a bottle of wine. He also gave us a big bottle of homemade olive oil we would use during our stay. The fridge was stocked with bottled water and beer. We also had a cleaning lady coming six days a week. The host was available at any time if we needed his assistance.

The absence of insect window nets. If the windows had the nets we would have enjoyed the sea breeze at night.

Belle villa au calme dans les hauteurs de Platanias, espace piscine superbe avec vue sur la mer. 2 grands lits doubles aux matelas moelleux, propriétaire très accueillant qui habite juste au dessus si on a besoin de quoi que ce soit. Une personne vient faire le ménage et changer les serviettes chaque jour (ce qui n'était pas nécessaire en fait...) Un resto à quelques pas qui était excellent !

Tout était bien, la piscine un peu fraîche fin octobre ( c'est la fin de saison à Platanias). Un détail : il n'y a pas de micro-onde. Peut être ajouter quelques condiments (sel, poivre, sucre)... mais il y a de l'excellente huile d'olive de la propriété !

האירוח היה מקסים, כפר נחמד עם רחוב מרכזי של מסעדות וחנויות במרחק כמה דק הליכה . הוילה מאד נוחה וכוללת מטבח מאובזר. המארחים היו מאד נדיבים ונענו לכל בקשה. הבריכה הייתה יפיפיה והנוף שנשקף ממנה מהבית היה מדהים וכלל שקיעות יפיפיות.

Superb grounds and pool and spacious well equipped accommodation. Very attentive and helpful owner.

No means of holding shower head to wall in 2 of the en-suites and no shower curtains
