GOOD:
It felt like a small, quiet green oasis in the middle of Cebu city.
Located close to IT Parc with nice cafes and restaurants nearby.
The small bamboo hut is cute and clean, comfortable bed. The upstairs bathroom (inside the house) was quite good, and I really enjoyed the outdoor bamboo shower.
I was able to check in outside regular hours as my flight landed in the middle of the night, and rest on the couch in the common area until the room was available.
Coffee, tea, water available for free, and you can use the kitchen to cook your own meals.
It has a homestay vibe, since the staff also leaves in the same house with their family.
I'd like to come back and try one of the bike trips!
Although:
I was the only guest and the hostel felt really quiet.
I was not quite sure which areas were private for the staff and which were meant for the guests (except for the big terrace with the dining table), and so I didn't feel super comfortable hanging out on my own in the common areas.
A hammock or some kind of couch would have been nice to relax on the garden side, under the open bamboo hut.
The downstairs bathrooms were ok, not super comfortable and to use (I used mostly these as the upstairs bathroom was further away).
