La dimora del ghibellino

Upon arriving in Tivoli, I regretted only staying one night instead of three. Seeing the host and the house, I was even more upset, thinking, "Why am I only staying one night instead of a week?" For the past three years, I've explored every corner of Italy (only Sicily remains, which I'll visit next year), and in those three years – and I'm not exaggerating – Tivoli has been the city that surprised me the most, felt most peaceful, and whose streets I couldn't get enough of. We stayed in a spotlessly clean, tidy, and sparkling clean house owned by a wonderfully kind, polite, friendly, and attentive host. The house was meticulously maintained. It was so obvious! The beds were comfortable, hygiene was top-notch, and everything we needed was there. Its location was also central, within walking distance of everything. The house also had a surprise: a rooftop terrace! Oh my God, what a magnificent spot it was! All of Tivoli was at your feet, and the sunset was right in front of you. 360-degree uninterrupted view.... I can't post many photos about this home and city because they're videos. The apartment is beautiful and full of Baroque charm – it instantly gives you a great sense of the city and its history. It’s very spacious and perfectly located, so you can easily reach everything on foot. The absolute highlight was the rooftop terrace – perfect for watching the sunrise and sunset. Alessandra, the host, was incredibly kind, helpful, and made sure our stay was as pleasant as possible. Everything worked out smoothly and without any problems – highly recommended!

We loved this beautiful apartment. Everything about it was exceptional. The hostess was terrific -- very accomodating and helpful. The apartment is so tastefully decorated and comfortable that it is part of your entire tourist experience in Tivoli. We were a family of four adults and all of us were overwhelmed by this exceptional place.
