The unit may be rented on a same day basis with exits from previous tenants. Vaccinations are now available for most individuals and are required. Should CDC report Covid type outbreak near check in date, The units will be cleaned upon a tenant’s check out.
The current maximum occupancy is 6 adults + 2 kids. Maximum occupancy is subject to any CDC recommended social distancing considerations etc.
Stays of 3 days or less require a $150 cleaning and disinfecting fee per reservation. For stays of 4 + days that fee will be refunded.
There is a $500 Refundable Damage Deposit fee that will be refunded about 15 days after check out if no damage is reported. It is listed as and "Administrative Fee".
Wonderful location within walking distance to beach, restaurants, bars, amusement park, boardwalk and short drive to Outlet Shopping, historical sites and areas of great natural beauty. There are 4 bedrooms, comfortable living room, eat-in kitchen and large deck overlooking Lake Gerar. Children's fishing pier and playgrounds within 1-2 blocks. Great affordable rides for all at boardwalk amusement park. Pet fee is per pet, not pro-rated or refundable. Approval required. Guests are to provide their own linens - sheets, towels and paper products.

If after considering all the factors, including all applicable Federal, State and local requirements, you decide that these are appropriate accommodations for you and your party, the Owner hopes that your stay will be safe and enjoyable. If you and/or any of your party are sick or ill at the time of your scheduled stay, please do not travel and cancel your reservations. It is the Owner’s policy to refund all the funds deposited into the Owner’s account when coronavirus illness or a governmental quarantine mandate is the reason for cancellation.
The owner follows all Federal, State and City of Rehoboth Beach coronavirus legal requirements. Please see the Center for Disease Control [CDC] website for the latest Federal coronavirus type outbreak requirements and restrictions; please see the Delaware Department of Health website for the latest State coronavirus requirements and policies; and please see the City of Rehoboth Beach, DE website for the latest local requirements and the reopening status of various Rehoboth services and businesses. Please also check the Rehoboth and Dewey Beaches Chamber of Commerce for additional information and services.
In an abundance of caution, certain items that were previously provided have been removed. The kitchens and bathrooms have been, and will continue to be, cleaned with bleach. White vinegar will be used on other surfaces. Bathroom throw rugs and tea towels are laundered with bleach after each tenant(s)’ stay.
Beds will be provided with mattress pads, one pillow with a pillow protector for each bed space, and a quilt. Unless soiled, these items will not be laundered between tenants. If you prefer to bring your own bed pillows and quilts, etc., please do so.
COVID 19 type outbreak - should another one occur - (the coronavirus) is a worldwide pandemic and is highly contagious. The owner will not be liable or responsible for any and all expenses related to any tenant(s) who contract the virus or any other contagious illness(es) during their stay. It is the responsibility of each individual to follow the latest legal and health coronavirus guidelines to protect their own health and that of others, including, at a minimum, to maintain social distancing, to wash their hands and to wear face masks when outside near other people.
A photo identity will be required for each guest sixteen years of age and older.

The location of the house was really nice and close to the beach. There was a few housekeeping things that weren’t the same as the listing showed. The tv didn’t work and we were on the phone with the cable company for an hour trying to resolve it with no success. The listing showed that it came with a toaster and none was provided. The living room area only had seating for 4-5 people so that made the evenings a little difficult. However, all in all it was a nice time spent with family and being at the beach is always a good vacation.

We felt right at home and had all the conveniences needed. The beds were comfy and the porch was a nice touch. It was in walking distance to the beach too.

First off read the fine print!!! We failed to do that and were very disappointed when we got there. You must bring all your own bedding and towels! We thought we’d be getting the whole house but no it’s split into a small apartment upstairs and the owner downstairs. There is no proper community space. The wicker furniture is awful. The teens mostly stayed in their room when at the place since there was no real communal space. There is a great porch that is right over where the owner sleeps so we really didn’t use it much and you have to go through a bedroom to get to it. We were very concerned about making too much noise with all those kids since the owner is elderly. There really wasn’t a feeling of privacy. We could hear ppl in the drive way as if they were in the house. The outdoor shower doesn’t work, the dryer slashed everyone’s clothes,DON’T USE THE DRYER! There is only one shower and we had 7 kids and 2 adults. The half bath is in a small bedroom and very inconvenient when everyone is sleeping or changing. The place was pretty clean but we found cobwebs in corners and base boards. The kitchen is tight, it’s not stocked for cooking so bring your own stuff if you plan to cook a lot or for more ppl. Bring your own knives for sure!
The location is really what it’s all about. So close to the beach and town. Convenient parking, nice little park across the street and just so close to the beach.
