+ Very clean, nicely and modern decorated apartment with convenience of A/C in the bedroom, private parking and ground floor access with garden. The bed room has multiple storage units for a family of four and the bathroom is spacier than average. There are two bedding options for kids, either in the bed room or the living room. + All windows have electric shutters to protect the apartment against heat and A/C is a plus not a standard in the region. + Very friendly host accommodating reasonable requests + Dervio is easy to reach with its own connection to highway.

- The mattress might not be very comfortable for heavier guests during a long stay. - Dervio is relatively smaller than Varenna etc. i.e. more a summer house location rather than a touristic destination, which is a plus to avoid crowd.

The proximity to lake and quietness around. We had flat at ground floor with it’s own terrace and a big green garden outside. Alessia, the owner, is a fantastic host who did great hand holding on our arrival. The train connection to Milan and other villages is reasonable and convenient. Property has its own gated parking.

In April, we found that connection to famous villages are limited through ferry. But train connections are fine.

Struttura molto curata, con tutto il necessario. La Signora Alessia ci ha fatto trovare la casa calda. Abbiamo avuto il piacere di trovare dolcetti, vino, e tante altre gentilezze. Ci è piaciuto tutto tantissimo. Vorrei ritornarci.
