The Desmais

The Desmais Apartments are situated just a short walk to the beach and local shops and restaurants, making it an ideal stay for couples and families. The pool area is beautiful and very clean and well looked after.

The bathroom needs some refurbishment.

The bed was comfortable and the living room was spacious and bright. It’s very close to Cala Galdana, supermarket and restaurantes - 5 min walk, but still very quiet. The pool is good, nice for windy days.

It’s a bit dated and needs some extra care. Shower is old and rusty, for example. Bit in general, we had a comfortable stay. What really ruined our experience was something the staff couldn’t solve - a very strong smell coming from the river, that made it totally impossible to open the windows or enjoy a meal in the balcony.

The apartments and its surrounding area are very peaceful. The location is great. It is a short, beautiful walk along the river to get to the beach/centre. Communication with the staff was excellent, they were attentive and very efficient. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and equipped with everything I needed for my week stay. It was also great to have two sets of towels; two for the shower, and one big beach towel. The parasol was also a great bonus.

Location was great, many super markets nearby for breakfast, they do their own bread among many other options. Cala Galdana is great as well, one of the few beaches with parking "nearby" (many others you have to walk/hike 20+ minutes). Many good restaurants for dinner as well. Bed was big and comfy. Parking on the street was easy and free.

The apartment feels 70 years old. In good condition, but old. Not modern. There is a kitchen but you need to buy everything, salt, sugar, oil, coffee. Many things that will be wasted. Used to have all of those available when staying in AirBNB. The dryer of the complex let me down the last day, it refused to start, they couldn't fix it. Had to travel with wet clothes in the baggage. Lastly, I found it was not a great value when my friends stayed in a far better equipped hotel for the same price.
