Beautiful and historical!

It was a unique experience to be able to live in a 300 year old apartment. Beautiful and historical! Very spacious with modern kitchen and bathroom. Christian was wonderful. He checked in often with us to make sure all was well. Great experience!

A more traditional shower would be nice or just a hook to attach the hand held shower nozzle higher up to free up both hands to wash.

We enjoyed our stay in St Malo but it was not without its quirks.

The property was located within the old city and was lovely. It is one of the few properties that survived WW2 and has lots of original features. It is well appointed and has all the comforts of home. We were only welcomed by Pascal who gave us a quick tour of the city.

The property did have a few quirks that come with older properties. There are several flights of stairs to negotiate with luggage, the bath shower is very high (a problem if you are short) and the floors are creaky. The bigger issue is the steps to the main bedroom are challenging to access in the dark and the only toilet is downstairs. There is a smaller bed downstairs which we moved to for night two.

perfect location inside St Malo fortress, grand interiors, seamless check in-out with very attentive host, convenient price-reduction at local parking 5 minutes away from the property. would definitely book again for another special occasion.

the bar across the street can be a little loud at night during the weekend, but didn’t prevent us from sleeping.

Le 1725 a must stay

The location in the walls in St Malo is just a start, allowing easy access to the city and the surrounds as well as the ferries to Dinard, Dinan etc. The property was old but tastefully decorated and had modern appliances which all worked. The photographs on the website do a good job at selling the location, and the rooms are larger than 5hey appear on the website. The owners contacted us regularly to check all was ok. The discounted parking at the Q park by the Porte St Vincent was also appreciated. A highly recommended place to stay and revisit.

Nothing really, a full shower would be a minor improvement, but the current bath and shower head work well.

Wenn Bretagne und St Malo - dann genau so!

Das Apartment hat ein ganz besonderes Flair: angefangen beim holzigen Geruch, über die hohen Decken, die offenen Kamine, die alten Fenster, die alten Räume mit der zum Teil altmodischen, zum Teil modernen Einrichtung. Die Küche nebst Inventar und Kochmöglichkeiten ist top. Es ist sogar ein Dampfgarer vorhanden. Kaffeekapseln, Tee und Zucker waren da. Zur Begrüßung gab es einen Cidre und verschiedene Marmeladen. Danke dafür!

Verbessern kann man die Badewanne/ Dusche. Optisch ist sie sehr schön, leider aber für´s Duschen recht unpraktisch, da das Wasser hinten herunterläuft. Im Klo fehlt ein direktes Waschbecken. Das Bett war für meinen Mann (1,87m) etwas zu kurz.

Super localisation: proche du port pour les balades en bateau; proche de la plage du Mole Appartement ancien avec beaucoup de charme L’hôte très sympathique et disponible La cuisine est très bien équipée avec tout ce qu’il faut.

La salle de bain est très jolie mais moins pratique pour la douche. Finalement les 2 chambres et aussi la salle de bain restent dans la meme espace. Un peu compliqué pour une famille dont le bébé doit se reposer plus tot.
