The hotel offers a spacious dining and lounge area, a well-equipped kitchen, and a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. Our room was small but comfortable, the beach nearby is beautiful, and the area is quiet and relaxing. The unique design, excellent facilities, and great location make this hotel an outstanding value for money

Our stay was nice. Although it's just for 1 night, we enjoyed the beach as it's very close. Clean facilities and room. Also we get to visit the Miradouro das azenhas do mar which is 5 minutes drive from the guest house.

Thin walls. Our room is beside the entrance and reception so we can hear the door closing and people checking in.

The room did not have air conditioning, which made it feel quite stuffy, and there was a noticeable odor. I can’t imagine how warm it would be during the peak summer months. Ventilation was limited to a skylight window, which could be problematic during rainy weather. The property felt more like an adult hostel than a hotel. Basic amenities were provided, with shampoo and shower gel supplied in individual packets rather than dispensers or bottles. It also took some time to figure out how to get the hot water working, and there were no staff available upon arrival to provide instructions. Guests should be aware that there is no lift, so luggage must be carried up the stairs. The kitchen and TV/lounge area are shared facilities. We booked this as a last-minute addition about a month before our trip and, in hindsight, wish we had chosen a better option. The bathroom was dated but functional, and overall the property was adequate for a short stay, though it fell short of our expectations.
