The location is absolutely stunning. The setting and the beautifully and well kept walkways through the mountainside are unparalleled. The staff are all so well trained and genuinely enjoy their work as did I meeting them. There is a noticeable and excellent team spirit at The Spanish Farm..!
I went by myself for a mental getaway and peaceful reset, to get back into my creative zone... writers... you will love it here! Nature on your doorstep with breathtaking and inspiring views.
Also the bathrooms are some of the nicest I've seen in hotels. Beautiful and well made bathrooms are so important to the soul.
I didn't want to leave this very special sanctuary in the mountains. My biggest thanks goed out to the wonderful owners and their excellent team.
This is one of the few places I'd love to come back to over again.
I was there in the winter and I found it a little cold in the lounge also during some days so I asked for a fleece blanket (for daytime cosying on the sofa or early evening when I'm not making a fire). I feel it could be a good thing to have there in the winter months.
It was not standard but the staff looked around and found one for me.
There is aircon that can also warm up the room (bedroom only) and the fireplace really did heat up the room quickly.
Unfortunately they don't offer dinner yet... but in the cottage with the kitchen that was bypassed by doing one nice foodshop nearby and using the oven or microwave for hot meals. That also meant I didn't have to leave the place at all after that.

The Breakfast option iteams (meats beef/pork) tasted and smelt Very off as if matured/aged although not specified that it was on menu.. (not my preference) ended up buying my own self-catering breakfast essentials instead. Not all lights worked and can be confusing as to which switch is not working upstairs specifically Villa 4
