Your Home in Bairro Alto

The location was fantastic. The beds were super comfy, and the apartment was very clean. It was nice to have a kitchen available and being next to a couple of markets and restaurants was super convenient.

The lock was a little tricky, but it just took a minute. The door did not have the best markings so that you knew which apartment it was, but the description was good. 

The location was very convenient, full of bars and restaurants. More of a place for young people, but fun and easy to walk to other central Lisbon locations, as well.

The room was small but that was expected and it is quite noisy, as it stands on a street full of bars, if you are not going there to party. But bars were closing down by the time we went back home, so it was find for us.

the host insisted that my credit card would not go through and demanded cash, which I didnt have that much cash on me since we just arrived. She sent someone over within ten minutes to collect money from us. I was able to convince her to use a different card and the matter was settled. However I spoke to another couple inquiring about how we liked our room because the host had also wanted a cash only deal with them. Just seemed a little shady. Also very loud in the street at night and hard to get to sleep
