Superb location and lovely owner - we were very sad we could not stay longer!

This apartment has a stunning location right above the sea and the owner was lovely - very friendly and helpful. We loved being here and watching the November weather coming across the sea (quite stormy when we were here). Out of season it’s very quiet and restful here, but also a good base for exploring the coast and hinterland. It’s in the heart of the old town with only access on foot so you have to park down at the harbour - but that’s not a problem unless you can’t manage some steps. We’d happily book this again.

A great stay

The host was in contact before I arrived with arrival suggestions and was there to meet me for check in. The guest house location is stunning with great views and lots of sunlight. The room was super spacious and had plenty of facilities. Good eating options nearby

It's a shame the bus station is so far away, but if you want to stay in the old town/next to the sea then you have to put the effort in

Gorgeous space in the heart of Kalaja Ulcijn

Obsessed with this space, it was right in the heart of Kalaja Ulcijn - only 5 minutes to walk down to the main center. Had everything we needed and the most beautiful view of the coastline. We fell asleep with the sound of the ocean waves <33 Clean space & facilities had everything we needed. The hosts were very kind as well!

A cheap but uncomfortable stay

Great location, 2 mins walk up the steps from the harbour car park (free) and 1 min walk down to the secret beach (ask the owners how to get there). Owners were really welcoming. Lovely view from the terrace. Spacious room and comfortable bed.

Strong sewage smell from the bathroom and very noisy at night. We had very little sleep. No curtain over the garden door so needed eye masks. Constant dripping from gutter above so unable to use the balcony and also audible even with earplugs. Sheets both had bloodstains on.

OK to look ariund the Old Town, but not really worth the stay

Choosing between tne "New Town" and the "Old Town" was like somparing "pest or cholera" as none of them was perfect. I would not choose Ulcinj as a destination if you are looking for a beach destination, it was just too much of a charter feeling and not one singke good restaurant available.

The only negative issue here was that basically no breakfast option in the Old Town of Ulcinj, the view from the room was a chaotic "garden" of sorts, the view (from the lower rooms was basicallt of a failed hotel construction site next door) so not really great.

Very good value for money

Very value for money, the apartment is very clean. A bit difficult to find as it’s in the old town and we were travelling by car and we didn’t know the best place to park is at the harbour (free of charge). Location is full of nice restaurants at walking distance. The host was so nice to run after us after checking out to return a charger we left behind.

Perfect place to stay in Ulcinj .

Probably the best view of the sunset in Ulcinj. Lady owner of the apartment let us stay several hours longer after check out time. The apartment is in old town next to the fortress,a minute walk from the town beach.

Everything is very good, but safety requires attention

Very nice place, nice hosts, quiet and dark at night, always hot water, bidet, amazing view from the window, restaurant with delicious food nearby, I would stay here again.

We lived in a two-bedroom suite. The owners should fix the kitchen stove, it doesn't turn off and is always hot, it's dangerous, we had to turn the stove off completely from the socket every time. The air conditioners are old and dirty and didn't inspire confidence, so we never turned them on.

Spacious rooms with perfect view of the sea. Accomodation Is in the middle of the old town castle, we spent time with 2 kids and everything was perfect. Good reach to sea And restaurants. Lovely place what I can ONLY recommend!! Thank you and see you again.

We have a loving memory of this stay!

The friendly landlord speaks English well. We got a room upgrade upon arrival. Our room had a little balcony facing the sea which was lovely. The location was excellent, in the midst of the old town, close to all restaurants. As we were travelling during low season there was virtually no one and this, of course, added up to the extremely relaxing experience we had.

Nothing significant. Similar to other apartments in Montenegro there are no kitchen towels, which is inconvenient doing dishes. Also, I’d use led light bulbs that send out warm light instead of the clinical white 😀. Parking your car is only possible outside old town, so you will have to take your luggage all the way up - that is no point of criticism, but just something to keep in mind.

Poor

Room was dirty. Personal didn't speak any English at all. There is a construction site nearby and the view is hindered by another abandon construction site and is not like the picture at all. Very loud in the morning and the room smelled like cigarettes. The beach is not "nearby", the oldtown was not visited at all and to get to the apartment is unnecessarily hard with no lights on the way to get there so make sure you arrive with daylight.

The facilities were great. Kitchen well equiped and the view was fantastic. The Host was super friendly making us fell really welcomed. We highly recommend it. The location is also great.
