NOT A LOT
Had to confirm evening meal as chef would have to be asked to come in, I have food allergies and very limited menu soup couple of mains and icecream batch cooked and reply to could they cook an omlette as options not suitable told NO ONLY FOOD ON LIST. This isn't a hotel it's someone who lives in the white house photos presented on the advertising that's not involved with the guests staying in 70-80s add on building. Restaurant old pine cheap furniture positioned around edge it's like old peoples home. IT IS THE MOST MISLEADING HOTEL ADVERTISED and people need to know truth. The breakfast staff were very nice and actually hot but limited breakfast. Advice DON'T BOOK one other guest said worse than faulty towers

The breakfast was delicious. I opted for the full English which was served to me at my table, apart from the orange juice and coffee which were available in a designated area. To start with I selected the berry medley rather than cereal. It was tremendous. The fruit was so tasty and fresh. I was served a generous portion and was really surprised by the quality. It helped me start my day with a big smile. The full English was tasty and the brown toast and marmalade finished my breakfast off. I did not feel the need to eat anything else until I got home and had a light snack in the evening.

Nice location lovely dining room
Extremely uncomfortable Hard mattress and rough cotton sheets. Very poor shower no pressure whatsoever and dirty drain. Full English breakfast was lukewarm and served on a cold plate so went cold very quickly. This was accompanied by burnt toast.

We stayed at The Old Rectory for 3 nights ahead of a party for my mothers 90th Birthday. We were welcomed as soon as we arrived. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The Breakfast was obviously locally sourced and was delicious. The bed was huge. And the room was clean and had its own thermostatic heating, something that you dont always get in Hotels. Mothers birthday was well run the buffet was very tasty, they made special platters for the gluten free members in our group. The sausage rolls were the most tasty meaty sausage rolls Ive ever had. Which their own Chef made fresh that day. I would recommend this hotel for value for money and the location which was on the main road but set back looking out over the gardens and courtyard. We didn't have any issues with noise it was a really quiet room.
Leaving ! my partner and I would have stayed longer if we could have definitely will be staying again at some point.

The Room was clean, Water pressure was great, Water was really hot which I loved but might be a bit too hot if you had kids (they did warn me at the front desk though). The Breakfast was outstanding as was the room service food we ordered from the kitchen. Everything felt very homely. Wifi was good. Staff all really lovely and happy to help. Cute little bar to get drinks. The place needs a bit of an update but for the price you cant ask for more. Clean, warm, homely. Overall I would definitely stay there again.
Nothing was bad at all really but just stuff to note. We had a king room which had 2 twins together which was fine. My side was great and the mattress firm, my partners side was overly soft and felt a bit saggy so he didn't have the best night sleep. Didnt effect me though haha :-). The place hasn't been updated for a while so the TV in the room is old and analogue so very small but usable and worked. We just used my laptop to watch a film on instead as the wifi is good however there are no plug sockets near the bed so when my laptop ran out of battery we had to stop the film until I could charge it across the room.

Good quality room. There for a charity meal function. Special mention for the food - really good. The catering was well above expectations.
Not a lot. Really enjoyed our stay.

Location was perfect for visiting family and also access to Norwich. The breakfasts were excellent(lovely hot chocolate as well). The staff were friendly and easy going. Loads of parking and remarkably quiet considering it is close to main road.
Loved the open door access for late night return. Would highly recommend. Now our go to place for family visits to Norfolk.
It rained.

Clean rooms, good location, not far from Norwich City Centre and the Broads
The first room we were checked in to was very dated (think 1980s), very clean but bore no resemblance to the pictures on the website, on request, we were moved to a far nicer room in the main part of the hotel, which was what we expected.
Breakfast is fine, lots of car parking but overall, the hotel just feels like it needs bringing in to the 21st century

Nice comfortable bed and good breakfast
Room was a bit dated also would benefit from larger wall mounted flat screen TV

Breakfast was quite nice with locally made produce
Would have liked the heating to have been put on prior to our arrival, the room was freezing and took a while to heat up. There were quite a few ladybirds setting up home that needed removing.

The staff were very attentive, friendly and pleasant. S
Someone rang me whilst I was on my way to ask if I would like dinner that evening (much appreciated when I was travelling Sunday evening)
The room I was originally put in did not have wifi access which was important to me as I wanted to be able to work in my room. The staff member was happy to change my room no problem (but just be aware if you are out in the bungalow)
The room was warm and comfortable with everything I needed. The bed was also huge and comfortable. Plenty of hot water for a lovely shower.
Breakfast was freshly prepared and yummy
The grounds are beautiful and especially so at night with all the pretty lights
Just the lack of wifi in the bungalow, but as I was allowed to change rooms this wasn't a problem

Whilst the Old Rectory primarily is a function venue it is perfectly comfortable for a nights stay and the breakfast was good.
No seating in the bar area

Room was a lovely size and had a comfortable bed, clean sheets and plenty of pillows and towels. Tea and coffee was well stocked and i appreciated being able to request fresh milk.
Sadly there was mould behind the bath taps, the sink drain was dirty and had an awful smell, there was cobwebs all around the room, there was mould all around the window, on the curtain nettings and water around most of the ceiling spotlights, with some mould.

Good breakfast.
Limited dinner menu offered on site - they tried to persuade us to travel 10 minutes to another property to have dinner for a 10% reduction! The meal I had was adequate but expensive for what it was.
Poor shower - much of water leaked from pipes and never reached the shower head.
Room appeared recently decorated and was clean and pleasant, but had quite a strong odour on entering. Lots of condensation in the room - damp patches on ceiling and black mould round window.

Asked for milk for cereal but didn’t receive any twice so gave up with that the cooked breakfast was cold we did mention this but by then had had enough so left
The place was tired looking the carpets smelled dirty. We had room 14 with single beds that make so much noise when you move in them that we were waking each other up all night

Location and setting great. Room and staff excellent. Food very good and breakfast exceptional.
Shower hose was leaky and shaving mirror would be an advantage.

Exceptionally clean, staff were very helpful and friendly, food was fantastic, evening meal and breakfast
Only thing I can possibly think of was tv in room was too small, but that’s just being piccy

The staff were nice. Very friendly. I clearly caught them on an extremely busy night too. Very helpful though. The hotel is in a great location, close to coltishal but not too far from Norwich.
By far the worst hotel room I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. It was freezing on arrival and the electric heater didn’t work. Just sheets on the bed.. luckily I found something that resembled a cover in a bin bag, in the wardrobe. No sheet on it however.
Just cold, damp, dark and warn out.
The evening meal was really poor, although they had a large function to cater for, so I do have sympathy for the kitchen team. Better to just refuse service if you can't be bothered to cook though.

Our whole stay at the Old Rectory was great, from the lovely welcome from booking in through to checking out the next day.
We had breakfast which was freshly made and came out within a good time frame.
It was also great that they had an electric car charging point, this made our stay even more great,

It does not deserve 4* and did not feel like a hotel but a B and B with a dozen Rooms .But location was in a country side.
Bed room, no security latch from inside , no safety locker for valuables, no sockets next to the bed but was comfortable .Bath room small, not toilet paper holder, no lighting on the wall over the kitchen wash basin and a plain mirror. Pool was not in use. Breakfast was not great either.
