Grand old building with real character. It’s being renovated room by room - our room was clean, recently decorated and with new carpets
If you want 100% perfection like a bland chain hotel this place isn’t for you. If you want quirky charm then go here!

Lovely historic building, situated in a lovely quiet area
Room was quite cold, there was a heater, no curtains, and no lights above the bed, just bare wires

Great value for money and staff are very friendly. We had a great nights sleep this was our second time we have stayed at fieldways. Will definitely be staying again

Lovely building
Twin beds were very uncomfortable, no support and much too soft for comfort. Bathroom taps were not working properly, Mould around the shower enclosure and a bad smell The shower head was in need of a good clean or replacing. We did not use the shower for this reason. In need of updating and decorating. We did not have breakfast and did not visit the swimming pool so cannot comment on these. Would not stay here again.
