We had a really lovely stay at Rossmanagher House. The room was very spacious, beautifully decorated, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The décor throughout the house is fabulous — elegant but still very welcoming. Lorraine is a wonderful host, warm and friendly from the moment we arrived, which made the stay feel very relaxed. The welcome, ambience and space of the room and property and breakfast were just so lovely.

Directional signage on the main approach roads to the property, but the host did go out of her way to meet us to ensure we got there safely which was much appreciated.

This gorgeous property is located in the quiet countryside. It is the dream house of the owners and Lorraine is a remarkable host. From the moment we arrived until we had to leave, she ensured that everything was perfect. Our room was enormous with a beautiful alcove overlooking the property cradling an overstuffed sofa. When Lorraine learned that I have an interest in horses, she spent her valuable time telling us about her son's championship career as a jockey. She told us about her dogs and Lily, the younger of the two, met us and insisted on some belly rubs, which was special for us since we were not traveling with our own dogs.

Everything was wonderful. The Hostess was lovely, helpful and accommodating. The property was beautiful, both the house and the surroundings. The food was delicious and plentiful. I would stay her again in a heartbeat.

Comfortable, elegant family home in a perfect location

My daughter and I were welcomed with genuine warmth the moment we arrived. Even with its interior of gorgeous grandeur, Rossmanagher House feels cosy, homely, and very much like a family home. Lorraine is a wonderful host—attentive, thoughtful, and full of fantastic recommendations for local sights, restaurants, pubs, and scenic walks. She truly went out of her way to make sure all our needs were met. We stayed for three nights in Room 4, which was exceptionally spacious, with a huge, comfortable bed, a sitting area, and a large bathroom. The view overlooked the tree-lined driveway and the field where horses graze, carefully watched over by two gorgeous sheepdogs. It was such a peaceful scene to wake up to each morning. Breakfast was more than ample, with fresh pastries, yogurt, fruit, and a full Irish cooked by Lorraine herself. She happily caters for vegetarians on request. We were so well fed in the mornings that we often didn’t even need lunch afterward! Rossmanagher House is a true gem—elegant yet welcoming, with hospitality that feels personal and genuine. We loved our stay and would return in a heartbeat.

The owner had you feeling like family in her beautiful home.

We loved the friendly and welcoming owner, Lorraine. The place was very clean, quiet, and relaxing. Our room was spacious, our breakfast was delicious, and we especially enjoyed chatting with Lorraine and meeting her dogs, the beautiful horses right outside our bedroom window was a surreal touch.

We loved everything except for not knowing how to get the shower to work and not having hot water for the bathtub.

Absolutely everything. The hostess, Lorraine is the classiest class act you could ever hope to meet. We were well taken care of from entry onto the beautiful property until our leaving today.

Just a tad bit hard to see who is coming down the road upon exiting the property but nothing we could not handle. The positives are in great abundance. The breakfasts are fit for a King and Queen and the country setting is peaceful most pleasant. Lorraine is an amazing hostess.

A great stay in a mansion

Host was really nice, it's a big mansion with unique interior especially the living room with a grand piano. The beds were really comfy. Breakfast was really solid! Option between Irish or continental breakfast and then you had fruits, cereal, some pastries so a lot.

Perfect stay for a hotel near Shannon airport and near the lovely town of Bunratty.

The house was lovely and looked like it was furnished out of love for the place with so much effort. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the breakfast and the lovely surroundings but even though we had to leave really early, the host made a special effort to put breakfast snacks for us to take with us.

An Absolutely beautiful house and guest accommodation . immaculate inside , so clean and such attention to detail inside , this accommodation cannot be beaten . The room was amazing , large spacious , the bed so comfortable , bathroom was the size of your normal hotel room , bath & shower , two sinks . The owner Lorraine is a lady , so friendly , helpful , chatty and Ireland is lucky to have her selling the real genuine Irish '' Cead mile Failte'' . We will be back !!!

Lorraine was very helpful and kind. She drove us to the local Castle and picked us up. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were large and comfortable. She cooked up a great breakfast the next morning. I really enjoyed staying at her beautiful home with her thoroughbred horses outside

Amazing Irish hospitality in an amazing home!

Lorraine is a wonderful hostess and her home is beautiful! She chatted and made us feel so welcome, helped with ideas for activities, and even rushed upstairs and found some earrings that my mom had lost in their room. Her breakfast was delicious and more than we could ever eat as well! The property is quiet and feels like it’s in the country, but is a short drive from the little town of Bunratty (great music at the pubs), and it’s easy to get a quick Uber there or to Limerick. Thank you for the perfect start to our time in Ireland, Lorraine!!

Beyond expectations

From the moment we arrived our stay was extraordinary. Lorraine made sure we had everything we needed to ensure our stay in Ireland was enjoyable. She made a delicious breakfast every morning and gave us site suggestions when we asked. The house was beyond elegant. Warm welcome in a beautiful home!!

Rossmanagher House is a beautifully decorated house on lovely grounds. Our bedroom was very cozy and the bed and bedding were comfortable and snug, especially on a particularly wetter than wet day!! We were greeted by Lorraine who made us feel very welcome. The village of Bunratty is very quaint, we had a lovely pub dinner at Durty Nellie’s. The next morning we were treated to a full Irish breakfast and many other delectable items to choose from. Again Lorraine was so hospitable and interesting to chat with. She made our stay there our most favorite overnight experience in Ireland so far. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rossmanagher House and highly recommend this gorgeous B&B!!
