FADO Bairro Alto - SSs Apartments

The information for check in and collection of keys for the apartment was correct and on time. The location is great. Lots of things to do around. Wifi was working very well. The place is very clean and has fully equipped kitchen, although we didn't use it much over the 4 days.

Maybe a bit loud during the weekend from the bars in the area, but you can close the windows. Long walk uphill from the main square, so a ride is an option and is pretty cheap. The apartment is on the top (4th) floor, so you can expect more walking up the stairs when you get to the building.

+ Kitchen was decently equipped + Location was great. It is easy to get around by walking and also close to the trains that go to Sintra and Cascais. + Washing machine, may not apply to all units. + Spacious, may not apply to all units.

We checked the reviews so we knew what we were getting. The place was perfect for us (a couple visiting in September), but there are a few tradeoffs that may be dealbreakers for some travellers. Also, all the units were not the same, so it may be a good idea to confirm some things with the staff. - No elevator. - Streets are loud at night, it is in the party neighborhood. - No AC - The flats in the building are very different, and the one you like in the picture may not be what you get. It is worth double checking with the property.

Location was perfect. It was located in the partying district of Lisbon so there was always something to do at night time just outside the apartment.

The washroom didn’t have proper airflow and it smelled like sewage time to time. There wasn’t a window to air out the smell.
