Nice holiday at Lago Maggiore
House is very nice and offers an excellent view of the lake directly from the outdoor pool. Owner lives upstairs and takes care of any request, considering the guests’ privacy. Location is a good starting point for visiting Orta, Stresa and Arona. We did not use the air conditioning, we enjoyed the fresh nights and mornings.
The road from the main street to the house is very very narrow.

Lake Maggoire Retreat
Location - overlooking the lake and Mountains. The peace, so tranquil and quiet away from it all. The accommodation was beautiful, very tastefully done and typically Italian. The hosts, lived above, however we very rarely saw them, but they were on hand if needed. They joined us one evening on the terrace and we sampled one of the local Grappas - they were so friendly and helpful, but without being intrusive - they gave us a bottle of Prosecco as a leaving gift which was very sweet of them. The pool was a bonus and totally for our own private use - much needed with the heat. Certainly would love to stop again.
