Culcharry Cottage

Very sweet cottage in a great location. Kitchen was well equipped and beds were comfortable.

Everything was great with a few amendments. Small items in the kitchen: knives could be improved upon; there were a pot or two that did not work on an induction surface which created some confusion the first night; having a fridge in the kitchen and a freezer in the garage was not ideal, especially since we didnt actually read about it in the book until the last night. Otherwise, only other comment from the crew was that it would be simpler to have the WiFi password be something easier to input rather that the default router string of numbers, but that is a minor item.

Das niedliche Cottage mit der dazugehörigen Einrichtung hat einen sehr persönlichen Charme. Es vermittelt das Gefühl, bei Oma und Opa zu Besuch zu sein. Vermutlich kommen sie gleich zur Tür herein… 😉

Leider ist das Interieur in den Zimmern und in der Küche in die Jahre gekommen. Die Auslegware könnte an einigen Stellen erneuert werden. Es mangelt zudem an einer gemütlichen Sitzecke im Garten.

Beautifully decorated for our Christmas week stay (thank you!). Well equipped kitchen. Snug living rooms with a log burner and open fire.

Some of the facilities are showing their age but overall a charming if not luxurious property.
