The Smithy

We had a wonderful stay and couldn't have asked for a better host. The Smithy was spotless, tidy and equipped with everything we needed. We were also treated to a delicious homemade cream tea on arrival and everyone should try Sally's homemade marmalade - we came home with two jars. What really stood out for us was how Sally went above and beyond when we had some car trouble. Sally offered to taxi us to and from the nearest garage and even offered a home cooked meal if we were unable to get dinner. We would highly recommend staying here and will definitely return.

Clean, electric blanket was beautiful :), good location

Washing machine is actually in owners house and a donation made to charity for its use, garden is also in owners property, which makes for taking dogs for a quick toilet and walk a bit inconvenient, shower unit is small, car parking is in owners property up the lane (40 metres), misleading description but if you don't mind this then very nice place

Beautiful scenery lovely little woods with a river and and the peace and quiet

Lovely location but no private garden there was a garden to use but it was shared with other people. Also no real parking space of your own although we did have a parking space less than a minute walk from the cottage.
