The Glass Room

Loved the location, close to many things we enjoy doing especially nature and birds. Loved the outlook of the property (especially of the alpacas), it's warmth and it's lightness. Spacious for a couple. Well equipped for our self catering needs. Friendly hosts who delight in sharing their property with their guests. We would have little hesitation in going back to the Glass House.

The WiFi was a disappointment. On arrival our host readily mentioned its unreliability and this turned out to be so accurate. The lack of it did impact our week as we had arranged a couple of meetings that needed it. We wouldn't have done so if we had known this. On reflection, felt it would have been better to not have advertised WiFi. This wouldn't have put us off the property but would have stopped us making the extra commitments we did.

Advertised as having a washing machine but didn’t

Quiet location with lovely views over pastures. Spacious accommodation, tasteful decoration, good quality furnishings. Helpful hosts who live in the house next door. Car parking space. We enjoyed our 3 night stay, and would come back again.

Very friendly owner met us and showed us around. Very comfortable lounge, plenty of seating. All linen very good quality, generous sized bed, very comfortable. Good views from upstairs room. Fresh flowers.welcome pack of food very thoughtful, the owner asked our preference when contacted before the holiday.

The oven was a little difficult to operate. Would have appreciated some kitchen roll.
