The cottage invoked feeling part of the Cotswold history. Self catering facilities were good.
The property met my expectation of a 17th century stone thatched cottage ie super inglenook fireplace with an open fire (kiln dried logs only) provided a grand warmth visually and physically during the cold weather we experience;d: Rural, but close to shops. Great aesthetic look. Good 'housekeeper' support.
One bathroom as expected, but there was also the clean outside toilet, so with planning it was no great problem.
As is usual with such a period cottage there were some drafts.

It was quant and cosy
Some of the curtain hooks were hanging off. There was quite a few cobwebs.

exterior & location were stunning. host was very welcoming leaving cake & milk & kitchen was stocked with essentials. Firewood left & host left heating on for my late arrival
host was excellent.
external back door didnt lock from the inside. a lot of cobwebs & a huge dead spider in sitting room.
