About this house rental

Little Campden House is situated in the heart of Chipping Campden . The house dates back to 17th century and is full of beautiful antique paintings and furnishings but has all the luxuries of modern living too . It is just positioned off the High Street and detached from any other property too so very quiet indeed but a stones throw from the shops, cafes, antique shops, restaurants, wine bars and pubs etc . The house is a good base to stay to explore the surrounding area plus it is one of the prettiest !!!
The house has 2 large Super king size bedrooms and both have an en suite . One has a large walk in shower and a bath / one has a large bath only . There is a large downstairs cloakroom and loo. The sitting room is comfy and has a fire . The kitchen has all the modern appliances one needs . The courtyard garden leads from the kitchen French Doors - the courtyard is a real sun trap too !!

Gorgeous cottage with everything where you expect it to be, except maybe for ice in the outside shed's freezer. Enjoyed cooking a couple of meals with all that one needed logically placed and easily found. After long weeks of travel elsewhere, we intended Little Campden Cottage to be a cool-down relaxing finish to our trip - it worked exactly like that, a home away from home. Beds super comfortable. Location within Chipping Campden perfect.

A beautiful cottage in an idyllic setting. The cottage was a nice size for two couples with a full kitchen and a comfortable living room area. It included a parking spot. Chipping Campden is a lovely town with some fun restaurants and shops. One of our favorite towns in the Cotswolds. The only reason I couldn’t give our stay a 5/5 was on the first evening the bathroom leaked down into the foyer and was never repaired, so we were left with just one tub/shower for the four adults. Not ideal. Shoshana, the host, was out of town and said she couldn’t get to it until after we left. I never heard from her again.

This is a wonderful place to stay! Shoshana has created a gorgeous cottage that we thoroughly enjoyed. It is just as beautiful as the photos in the listing. There were 4 adults in our party-without a car- and everything we could need was already in the cottage. Shoshana was also a great source of advice about taxi and train service. We used Cotswold Tour and Travel for 2 days of wonderful experiences, including a visit with Jon, who showed us how his sheepdogs handle a flock, and Anna, a great baker and teacher who welcomed us into her home and taught us to make shortbread, scones, and a lovely sponge! On top of that she served us a cream tea-thank you, Anna!We had Sunday roast at 8 Bells to finish up a day of walking. It was a great cottage and a great visit!

Perfect little cottage in a perfect location. Clean, and equipped with everything one should need - we felt at home immediately. Perfect size for my husband and I and our 20 year old nephew. Could easily accommodate two couples or a family of 4. Shoshana was easy to communicate with and very responsive. She left us a “welcome” package with fresh milk, tea and coffee, bread, jam, butter and eggs so we wouldn’t have to rush out to provision on our first morning. Thoughtful touch, and very appreciated! Loved the location just off the high street yet quiet and private. Dedicated single parking spot. The outside private patio was perfect - we used it every day (and the weather was quite warm for England this time of year). I looked at many different holiday rentals and I’m so glad we settled on this one. Very highly recommend !!!

We’ve just enjoyed six wonderful weeks in Little Campden Cottage. Words can’t explain how beautiful this cottage is - plus all its attributes - it’s just off the Main Street but very quiet so walking everywhere is possible. The cottage is very beautifully decorated both inside and out. This is probably the most beautiful accommodation we’ve stayed at in England and over the years, we’ve stayed at many holiday houses and cottages.Thank you so much Shoshana - and James- for giving us the opportunity to stay in Little Campden Cottage for six very special weeks.LnL

We loved our stay in this beautiful cottage which is gorgeously decorated, super comfortable and has everything you could need. The location is also brilliant with shops and pubs/ restaurants literally 1 minute away. Would love to come back in the summer to make use of the lovely garden. Highly recommend!

Little Campden Cottage rises up to greet you with a big hug! Shoshanna was wonderful with answering questions prior to arrival and made the checkin process very easy. Her welcoming touches of a charming Christmas tree and basket of fresh necessities in the kitchen was beyond thoughtful. The Cottage is warm and cozy- was the perfect place to stay for the holidays! The bedrooms are delightful with large comfortable beds, the bathrooms light and airy with wonderful heaters for towels, large shower in one and just a pleasure to use. The kitchen was also well appointed- as well as being a lovely, cozy place to be in. Location was fabulous- steps from the high road for groceries and shopping. We walked to Broadway tower on the Cotswold way-so enjoyable as Shoshanna has thoughtfully left Wellies in different sizes for use. Was easy to drive to other villages for sightseeing- but we were always happy we were returning to Chipping Campden and our gorgeous cottage! Highly, Highly recommend this beautiful cottage!

If you are looking for the most amazing place in the Cotswolds please look no further! We sure didn’t! This was our second stay with Shoshana at Little Campden House. Our first visit we were there for 6 nights and this time we extended to stay for 10. This home is so beautiful and comfortable. Shoshana has done an incredible job of preserving the traditional old ceiling beams and Cotswolds stone yet upgrading to modern bathroom and kitchen appliances. You are just around the corner to the High Street where restaurants abound. Our favorite is DaLuigis. It’s a great Italian place with terrific, friendly service. Just ask for Diego. Your evening will be very memorable. Our other favorite is Eight Bells also within walking distance in this quiet, safe village. Thank you Shoshana!!!! You’re the best!! This charming cottage in Chipping Campden was the perfect home base for our trip to the Cotswolds. When we arrived, we had a basket of eggs, bread, butter, jams, and fresh milk in the fridge waiting for us. There are very nice personal touches throughout the house. Lovely all around.

The property is beautifully furnished and has every facility: the courtyard at the back is delightful for eating outdoors. The only negative is that the second bedroom has no door to the bathroom which makes for awkward moments. Expensive but worth it.

The cottage was ideal. Detached, no traffic, walled garden and only 30 seconds from Chipping Campden high street. Shoshana was the perfect hostess. All information was accurate and timely. Even though she was on holiday herself, when I emailed about a problem she responded within a few minutes and someone arrived to sort out the problem about 15 minutes later. We will be back.

It was an honor to be allowed to stay in such a charming cottage! The whole neighborhood is built into the historic town center. Gourmet restaurants, inviting pubs, family grocery stores, non-Starbucks coffee cafes. All with in 500 steps! The cottage is antique authentic but decorated in plush European comfort! Loved the visual art, the sculptures, and furniture! You sink into the beds, couch and chairs! Kitchen equipped for every cooks delight! You could invite all the nice neighbors over for wine and cheese on the patio! The three spa type bathrooms should be an adventure in themselves! We hope we will be honored to stay at this beautiful place again!

We had a wonderful time staying here. The property is spotless and really lovely - a true Cotswold cottage central to downtown but just off the High street. We could walk to everything and the tourist information shop is close by. We ate our once at the pub and got supplies from the lovely nearby food provisioner who had a wonderful selection of pies and salad fixings. The weather was good and we walked to Broadway tower and through the National Trust lands. A remarkable natural haven.

My family and I (including 2 children) had a great stay at this wonderful holiday home in the idyllic Chipping Camden. The home is beautifully decorated, sumptuous and very comfortable. The home was spotlessly clean, with everything you need for a short (or long!) stay and perfectly located, both for exploring Chipping Camden and the Cotswolds more generally. The host Shoshana was super friendly, helpful and responsive. Couldn’t have asked for anything more! Highly recommended!

From the White Company bedding to the Jimmy Choo wellies, this is luxury throughout. Everything is thought through well and done beautifully. The location is ideal, just 2 mins walk from the high street. I have stayed in cottages many times in Chipping Campden and this is by far the best. Will definitely return-thank you.

We stayed for 5 nights with our daughter and son-in-law. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. There is no clothes dryer, but we had lovely sunny days and clothes dried quickly on a rack. The kitchen is well equipped, the shower and tubs are lovely. It was great to meet Shoshana, we hope to return.

We had the most wonderful time at Little Campton House in Chipping Campton. The home was absolutely beautifully decorated with Shoshana’s fine touches and yet showing the traditional charm of the Cotswolds cottage. The pictures on her detailed website do not disappoint. Shoshana was an incredible hostess who checked in on us just enough to make us feel welcome in her home but was always available. If you’re looking for the perfect location to explore the Cotswolds, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Shoshana for hanging in there for three years during this crazy pandemic. It was well worth it and we will definitely be returning!

Soshana could not have been more helpful. The property , which is lovely, is brilliantly positioned for all of Chipping Campden’s amenities. There was a very comprehensive welcome pack of breakfast things. A very minor comment…guests need to take their own shower gel (there was plenty of hand wash and a small bar of soap) and .the Bath towels were very small and I’m only 5’2” and 8.5 stone.
