Apple Cottage - 27442

The cottage was lovely. It had everything we needed and Andrew was very helpful. Location was great for us also to visit surrounding area.

Location great for us and two dogs, plenty long walks in country parks and woods. Only 30 mins for camber sands, dog friendly, beautiful sandy beach. Perfect welcome to cottage, delicious homemade cake awaited us and doggy treats for the furry ones! Everything needed in cottage for a fantastic base.

Although very cosy and lovely, for us we found the stairs up to bed very steep and dark and creaky when we needed to visit the bathroom downstairs during the night. Not a lot of room either side of the bed without knocking into the beams.

Lovely little cottage, with all the essentials for a short break. It's in a beautiful, quiet location with plenty to see and do nearby and also some lovely woodland walks on the doorstep. The kitchen window had a wonderful view across the fields of the lambs.

Not a dislike, just a suggestion for future stays...we only discovered the hairdryer on the last morning under the kitchen sink...it would be handy if it was left in the bathroom cupboard :-)

We had a great stay at Apple Cottage. What a lovely little place. We had pretty much everything we needed at the cottage and we're even greeted with a delicious coffee and walnut cake. Even the dogs got a welcome treat! There were 3 fields that we were allowed to let the dogs have a run out in which made life easier and a pub that was only a 5/10 mins walk through the back field. Pub was also dog friendly. We hope to stay again in the future

The weather wasn't great but what can you do. It didn't stop us from having a wonderful holiday
