Cycling from Berlin to Copenhagen

The apartment was very comfortable for a two night stay and it had everything we needed. There was a lift, which made it easy to store our folded bikes in the apartment on the third floor.

Some messages I sent through booking.com about possible early check-in were not answered. It seems early check-in is not possible.

the manager is very helpful

The manager was very prompt when we had an issue with the key and came right away to help, even though it was late evening. We've been coming often to this place and we always liked it. This time it was a short out of the season stay, for which I am grateful that they also offer 1 night accommodation.

Great weekend with my son

Perfect for my 9 year old son and myself. The people on the bar were really lovely as well. Our Friday night was brilliant and my son had a great time. Location was excellent. Edeka 5 minute walk away. The sea front as well, nice walk, places to eat. Rostock City center 10 minute walk with access to transportation. No noise issues either. Really peaceful. We had a fantastic time. Thanks Paul

Overall a very nice stay!

Friendly and helpfull host. Nice appartment. Good location.

We would like more information about the car park before the booking and at the booking. We hade to text the host and ask about it. It was warm nights and we had some windows open but we couldn’t lock them so they was moving in the wind. No information about how we should clean the apartment before leaving. It was a carpet in one of the bedrooms but it was no vacuum cleaner in the apartment.

Exceptional

The location is great, very central in the old city and right in front of a church. The manager is very friendly and helped us whenever we had a problem. In the floor there are paintings done out of puzzle, my kid was very excited about them. In the flat I liked the big double bed, the extendable sofa, the TV, the equipped kitchen (oven, coffee machine, dishwasher, big fridge with freezer, no microwave but we didn't need one). There is no AC, but we also didn't need it. Downstairs there is a restaurant&bar and a stage with concerts now and then. When people came in the evenings to the restaurant&bar, it really gave us a holiday feeling, to hear them chat and laugh outside (and they were never loud).

Nice apartment (Midge) close to the city center

Very modern, clean and nice place. Two huge bedroom and a bathroom with bathtub. Kitchen was well-equipped (maybe missing a few utensils like a sharp knives and a potato peeler). Private parking available in the garage below and elevator throughout the whole building. Nice staff when we arrived. It was a very nuce value for money plus place and close to grocery shopping. We had dinner in the restaurant once, which was fine.

WIFI was unstable. I could stream TV and sometimes surfing online required that you reconnected to the network.

The location is good, being adjacent to the Alter Markt, though it is a short walk to most of what you would want to see on a visit to the Hansestadt. The location is quiet too. The size of the apartment is generous and the bed and sofa are comfy.

We found the décor a little tired and the choice of colours a little drab for what is a somewhat dark apartment as a result of the smaller roof/dormer windows. A fresh coat of white, as opposed to a shade of cream would lift the feel of the rooms. Equally, the kitchen was a little tired and the rain shower had one of its water outlets missing, meaning the rain effect was not even.

Superb

Very comfortable, calm, well equipped apartment centrally situated in old Rostock, some 600m from the pedestrian zone. The owners run a nice bar/restaurant in the ground floor. Perfect parking in a garage underneath.

Best family trip in Rostock

It was our best stay in Rostock! We stayed there 2x so far. The flat has a kitchen, which is ideal when you're with a young child like we were. The view and the area was the best, with the church! The owner Astrid helped us many times with all questions that we had! She even gave to our kid lollipops a few times! We also wanted to extend our stay and it was easily possible, just wrote her an email and it was possible to exchange with another flat. Downstairs there is a stage where concerts take place now and then. There is also a nice restaurant downstairs! Can't wait to come again and our son was super excited by everything!

WLAN had a low strength but we didn't really need it anyway. It was compensated by TV!

Georgeous apartment and view, good location easy to find public transport and close to the down

The apartment is comfortable, gorgeous and clean, the view to the St Petri Kirche is really nice and the location of the apartment is good easy to find public transport and close the river.

The laundry service was not entirely clear or easy to use, the host is not easy to contact after the checking they are available starting 3 PM or 5 PM

Nice people and the bar downstairs is cool but the rooms need a renovation.

The location is perfect but still silent.

The shower has been broken. Works but defintely doesn’t look nice. At the mentioned price some kind of shower gel should be available. The seals have not been clean in the shower. The furniture is very old.

Nixe stay at great location.

Great place, nice staff and we all enjoyed staying there. Can only recommend staying at Urprung during a stay in Rostock.

Nothing really. A few more kitchen appearances would be great though. Like table placemats...but all in all everything was fine.

Die Unterkunft war genau richtig - zur Entfernung zum Event. Genauso verhielt es sich mit der Bootsanlegestelle. Dass man das Lokal unter dem Apartment nutzen konnte war echt eine Bereicherung.

Es handelte sich um ein sehr gut eingerichtetes Apartment mit Küchen-und kleinem Barbereich sowie großem Wohnzimmer in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Stadtzentrum . Trotzdem war es außergewöhnlich ruhig.

Kann man Guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen

Die Lage ist ein super Ausgangspunkt ,wir waren nur zu Fuß unterwegs .Die Wohnung war sehr ruhig und man fühlt sich wohl .Die Tiefgarage ist sehr schön ,besonders ,da man das Gepäck von dort direkt zur Wohnung transportieren kann .

Die spitze Ecke am Waschbecken ,neben der Toilette ,da stößt man sich gerne mal .

Für eine Stippvisite in Rostock geeignet, aber nichts zum längeren Wohlfühlen.

Die Lage und unkomplizierte Schlüsselübergabe. Die Wohnung ist groß, nett gelegen und ruhig. Der Fahrstuhl ist für den Hund super. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und herzlich.

Die Wohnung ist groß, aber in die Jahre gekommen ausgestattet. Die Sofas sind schon mit Stoff überzogen worden, damit man das abgenutzte Leder nicht sieht. Etwas durchgesessen sind sie auch… Handtücher waren leider abgezählt mit einem größeren und einem kleinen jeweils wenig saugfähigen Handtuch pro Person und somit für dreieinhalb Tage zu wenig. Auch gab es keine Hände-Handtücher in Küche und Bad. Die Ausstattung der Küche war so mäßig, ebenso die Sauberkeit. Die Kaffeemaschine ist verkalkt und sieht ungepflegt aus, was den Gebrauch nicht ganz appetitlich macht.

Ist weiter zu empfehlen. Wir werden das Haus auch künftig nutzen.

Es war alles gut beschrieben. Die Info´s vor der Anreise waren sehr gut. Wir haben die Unterkunft gut gefunden. Der Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage war eine sehr gute Sache, denn im Umkreis sind Parkplätze rar. Sollte von Booking darauf hingewiesen werden.
