Horrible and not customer oriented host communication

I was late for 15 min with check in time(7pm) cuz of traffic and could not stay in the property for all time I booked (2 nights). The property host, Liicia, was rude and not cooperative at all. I kindly asked for different possibilities: to pick up the keys, to pay extra, or to check in next day (I paid the whole two night infront), but got rejected. Was looking like I was not welcome at all, in the end Licia canceled my booking without refund. First time I see that much strict property and host rules, not customer oriented at all. Was very disappointed by this booking.

This is a great option for two couples to stay very close to the old centre of Verona, literally a 2 min walk to the main Piazza. Two good sized double bedrooms with en-suites and a comfortable shared area.

Worst stay in italy in 20 years of travel

Position in centre

We were in flats from Siccilia to Veneto this is first bad experince. Grumpy staff even before arrival. You get the feeling they would prefer jist that people send the money and not come. Not even basics in kitchen such as coffee and sugar. No water cattle that was in description. Parking far away. We had accident in kitchen some minor damage on the plastic next to cooking plates. Now they want 1000 eur from us! For equipment that is 30 years old.and damage that can be settled with minor retouch

Very lovely stay, wonderful central location! Had everything we needed - and loved the decor and arched ceilings. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for good value for money accommodation in central Verona.

Few very minor issues with electricity due to nature of old building - kettle and hob would occasionally cut out while in use.

Perfect location in a nice warm apartment with a cool ceiling

Communication with Licia was great! She gave us many tips for restaurants and where to go, which are great! nThe location was absolutely perfect and the apartment was very comfy. There were enough towels and toilet paper and the shower was nice. Everything was within walking distance.

The electric stove works a bit weird, but once you get the hang of it's ok. More cutlery would have been nice. Sadly it was a bit noisy due to the road infront but as you are in the city there is not much you can do about that. Once you get used to it it's fine.

Best thing was location!! And most commendable host wad young Ms.Gaida ,her enthusiasm,friendliness and helpfulness were excellent and exemplary! I would recommend this place because of her alone.

The location was excellent and the apartment was reasonably priced and has a washing machine. The heating worked well

The kitchen area had no space for food preparation and there were minimal pans and no sharp food prep knives. There were no comfortable chairs to sit on. The options were the bed or the single sofa bed which only has room for one person the sit on. This is a studio flat although on Booking.com it is described as a superior apartment. The heating worked well but there was no remote for the air conditioning. The WiFi signal was very unpredictable and slow. The outside space is tiny and the photos are inaccurate with regard to this space. The other photos of the internal area are accurate although the written description led me to think there was a separate bedroom. We had come to Verona at the end of a long journey and were looking for somewhere to rest and recuperate. This isn’t the place for that. It would work if you plan to be out all day and to eat elsewhere.

We really enjoyed our stay but I would say it was overpriced for what we had.

We were informed that we needed to be at the property at a certain time ahead of us arriving in Verona. We were a little delayed because of the bus transfer but managed to get hold of someone on the phone and they arrived at the same time as us.

We were extremely happy with our apartment. We did have a couple of issues within the apartment and as we had paid a security deposit when we arrived, felt the need to tell the owners of every issue as we didnt want to lose our deposit when it wasnt our fault. The issues were very quickly dealt with though apart from the leaking AC unit in the kitchen which we were informed about on arrival.

False advertising - owned apartment NOT a hotel. Images are misleading

Great location, close to restaurants and shops.

The pictures advertised for this propoerty are misleading because you do not know which room you will end up with. We found broken glass on the floor at the foot of the bed upon checking in. The outdoor courtyard was small and connected directy into neighbours and other tennants. Bathroom light was under mirror across the room form the door??? Mould in the bathroom. 1 pillow and 1 towel proved per person. Extremely uncomfortable bed.

I booked 2 apartments, this review is for Via Capello 29. My daughter stayed in the other. Great location and was surprisingly quiet in the apartment. Comfortable bed, very clean. Air conditioning worked well.

wonderful stay in Verona, thank you. We recommend!

We liked EVERYTHING and thus had wonderful stay at Verona. 1) exceptionally wonderful apartment. I would not only book this apartment again, I would gladly buy such flat! 2) it exceeded our expectations based on photos and description. Nice design. Very good zones inside the flat, the doors (also gliding ones) provided for privacy. 3) very spacious, we could accommodate with full comfort 2 teenagers and our grandmother (70 y.o.), so every one could have their own programme without disturbing other family members. 4) high ceilings, a lot of volume, good air conditioners, which was important during hot days in summer 5) a very good location, in the centre, 10-12 min walk to Arena, where we listened to Aida opera - a highlight of our stay. 6) extremely supportive and friendly staff, easy check-in (we were late, the people were waiting for us and remained nice and friendly). Good explanation where you can eat nice food.

Perfect apartment in a perfect location

The apartment Nizza 20, looks exactly the same in real life as in the photos, no wide angled lens used! It is absolutely beautiful, extremely comfortable and huge! It is located in the old city, so everything is a short walk away and there's a beautiful view of the river from the sitting room. The rooms are spacious and very quiet at night. The lift and aircon were a lifesaver!!! We had a lovely, comfortable stay and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Verona.

Great location, very clean, lovely shower, beds were comfortable, overall a very comfortable apartment. Would definitely go back to it.

Air-conditioning worked well but had to be emptied and reset a few times. It's an old building though so this is a tiny issue for an otherwise excellent apartment.

Pied de terre in Verona

This apartment was really beautiful, stylish and well equipped. The location is superb- right next door to Gino's ( the best pasta place ever) and across from Santa Anastasia. There is a cool piano bar just across the road too, and all the major sights are within walking distance..

Very nice and spacious apartment. Everything was clean and fresh. The apartment was amazing in the city center of Verona. The apartment was very well equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, coffee maker and two bathrooms with individual air conditioning in each room. Absolutely nothing to complain about.

An excellent apartment in an amazing location.

It's an incredible location that was just down the street from a conference I was attending. The balcony hade a lovely view of the street and the apartment was spacious and comfortable.

Comfortable, relaxing with a superb view and well located for the old town.

Being so close to the heart of the old city, right by the river with lovely opening windows that welcomed the superb view in. Being on the 5th floor was great for the views and the lift made it easily accessible. The art deco style throughout is delightful. There is a small supermarket, baker as well as plentiful cafés and restaurants nearby. Recommendations proved useful to help us choose and we weren't disappointed. The local beer brewed in one was tasty.

We could not have asked for a better spot to stay in Verona. Our host was incredibly generous and shared her local tips on where to eat and the sites to see. The accommodation was located centrally in Verona, right next door to Juliet’s balcony. Super clean and comfortable accomodation. Would love to visit again!

Useful apartment for city break

The location was very good, within easy walking distance of the centre and all the sights. The staff were very friendly.

We did not appreciate there are multiple apartments in different locations, and so we thought we had booked a different location to the one we received. But as all locations are close to city centre it is not a major issue.

Excellent and very authentic Verona experience overall.

The location is great, very close to everything you'd want to see or visit in Verona. The apartment is a part of the very old building with great character.

I would have suggested extended free check-in facility to accommodate flights from London. 7pm cut-off looks too early. Adding proper bottled shampoo and shower gel would have been nice, too. That said, a five minute morning stroll to the nearest Conad is not a problem at all.

Great location, comfortable beds (but the sofa not so much), we had all that we needed. One of the locations had a great pasta place downstairs

We booked 2 apartments for a group of 7 and it was a bit weird that they were on different sides of Verona's center. There were also a lot of instructions before to read and apps to register in which a bit too much.

Don't rent this property

Location near the Arena, tourist info office, historical shopping center, quiet street, pleasant suite, but with many faults (see below)

No kettle, no toaster, no electric coffee maker (no coffee), musty smell on entry, no view, tiny outdoor space, A/C was simply a glorified fan (min 24oC), some dishes were "dirty", soft uncomfortable bed (probably 2-3 years beyond "Best Before" date), old sheets (one had a wear hole in it), owner refused to supply more paper towels despite 2 requests (brought toilet paper the first time (not required) then told us to use the cloth towel), overpriced, owner "forgot" to refund the damage deposit, did so 2 weeks later after a reminder.

The location is great, couldn't have found a better! The landlord was very communicative and she responded super quickly to messages.

We stayed in one room which was a kitchen and a bedroom. The room was too small for 3 people. The shower needs some fixing too. Even though we paid cleaning fee, we were asked to take the trash out (very politely but still we found it strange).
