GuestHost - Verona Romantic Apartment with Breathtaking Views!

Basically this place is the Tardis. The photos online do not do the size of this apartment justice. Me and my bestie had a lot of fun seeing if the two of us could stretch our arms as wide as the wardrobe in the hallway if we both simultaneously stood with our arms out…we could not. It’s massive! Also if you look from outside the building there appear to be only four floors, but you go up a few floors in the lift to enter, get inside, and then there are 3.5 more floors inside, and a full terrace! As far as I’m concerned, this place is magic. A someone from Edinburgh, the bedrooms were all larger than my entire apartment back home (see photos). One thing I loved, being a fan of all things pink, is that one of the bedrooms was pink everything! Obviously I claimed that room as my own little sanctuary, and had the loveliest stay on the most cushy mattress, with the giant pink pillows! (See photos for the cushiness) The rooms have individual locks, so you get full privacy, and there are plenty of plug sockets and good WiFi. There is also an element of time travel, as the apartment (or mansion as far as I’m concerned), is full of piles of wonderfully vintage everything! There were stacks of old tech like CD ROM machines, and magazines dating back through the decades. An entire bookshelf of VHS tapes, decades worth of cool CDs, and the most epic selection of vintage lamps and books. The art on the walls is endlessly entertaining, with giant pictures of cats on bookshelves, and rock climbers dangling off cliffs (see photos). It’s a bit like a time travel museum in there! The view from the terrace (see photos) is also better than the view we found climbing up one of the hills, as you have a rooftop view over every monument and tower in the city. For tea drinkers, this is the only accommodation I have found so far in Italy that not only had a big kettle, but also had a massive four pot teapot.

There were some minor bits that could have been improved, but not to a concerning level that I need to dock any points. The teapot still had teabags and cold tea in it from a previous guest, so needed a proper clean. Same with the coffee filter pot, which was unusable as it had been left so long it was rusty. I stayed in September 2025 tho and fully cleaned the teapot back to English tea standards, so whoever stays there next will have perfect tea! 🥰 The lights were a little bit of comedy mayhem, as some switches didn’t seem to turn any lights on, and for the top floor where there is a third double bed, we couldn’t get any lights working. We just used the other two bedrooms tho as there were only the two of us. Same for the bathroom where the shower is, so we just made sure to have morning showers so we could see what we were doing. Side note: the shower curtain was not attached but folded up on a shelf, and when we hung it to use the shower it took a bit of an age as some of the arms to hold it were old enough to be rusty. The shower head was awkward to use as it kept moving back toward the wall, so water was splashing anywhere but on me unless I held it with one hand. Fine for the 3 nights we were there as our use of it was limited, but if you are staying longer, you might want to consider this if you are a fan of long showers. Nice and warm tho - there’s a heater button just outside the door for it. The one thing that absolutely needs immediate fixing by the owners is the kitchen sink’s tap. It is fully stuck on one setting, and that setting is a wide spray, so no matter where you stand, if you are doing the washing up you will be drowned. We had to wear a tea towel like a bib just to wash the cups, and it still soaked right through.

Самый центр, три спальни, балкон с видом на Верону, богатый дом, много дерева, качественный паркет, предметы старины, роскошные дубовые резные двери, оснащённая кухня, высокие потолки , просторно, уютный свет. Чисто. Если вы большой компанией- это идеальное сочетание цена/ качество и возможность побывать в действительно настоящем Итальянском доме в семье Софи Лорен и Мастрояни! Те кто написали,что не было горячей воды просто не знали, что нужно немного подождать, газовая колонка находится на нижнем уровне и пока горячая вода подниматься наверх в ванную комнату пройдет пару минут. Это не критично. Если выбирать между 16 метровой комнатой в отеле и таким огромным домом, то это не сопоставимая роскошь! Мне понравился текстиль, которым обиты диваны, их подвергли критики за потёртости и хозяин задрапировал накидками. Я бы приложила усилия и восстановила те места,где ткань пострадала, тем более она сохранилась в виде скатерти на столе. Хороший мастер сделает новый подлокотник за час. Эта ткань и на занавесях, котрые создают ансамбль по задумке хозяина , ткань шикарная, дорогая, шелк, дублирована . Сохраните ее в первозданном виде, просто качественная паровая химчистка и замена материала на пострадавших местах и вам не придется испытывать неловкость перед гостями , завешивая эту красоту!

В парадной нет зеркала, и на первом этаже нет ни одного, чтобы поправить прическу и накрасить губы перед выходом ,нужно сбегать на второй этаж в ванную)
