    Nordwind was a very nice stay in a quiet spot. The room was clean and just right for the price. Friendly staff, and ample parking for motorbikes. I didn’t go in the pool, but it was nice to sit beside it. All in all, a solid place to stay in Chiang Mai.

    All the staff was friendly and tried to be helpful. The front desk receptionist was lovely and did her best to accommodate us. We booked a superior room. Upon entering the room we found the bed to be sagging on both sides. The front desk promptly moved us to another room. The bathroom had no mirror and the shower was mouldy as there was no working fan. A good scrub and upkeep might help. We paid to upgrade to a suite which was roomy and in better condition. The sink was completely cracked and the faucet unstable. The shower was large but as usual in Thailand, the water temperature ran hot and cold intermittently. Breakfast was good and had a nice variety with fresh fruits, omelettes, Thai food etc. The pool is small with not a lot of seating but it was refreshing. Air conditioning was good. There is no shuttle to the airport or local sites as advertised. Location was good, a 15 minute walk to old town and local restaurants and 7-11 close by.

    I stayed here for a total of 8 nights. It was good value for money. The room is spacious, the water pressure is good, there's a mini balcony where you can hang wet items to dry, and there's a mini table and sofa to eat takeaway food items from the nearby food markets. It's not centrally located but definitely walkable or an easy motorbike / grab car ride to anywhere. The free breakfast is varied and there's enough options. The hallways/stairs could use more cleaning throughout the day due to the mud/soil from guests but overall, this was a good accommodation package. It's also near mae kha canal, a 7eleven and a small eatery so it's very convenient.
