Danube Corso Boutique Apartment

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Danube Corso Boutique Apartment and couldn’t have been happier with my experience. The location is unbeatable — perfectly situated within easy walking distance of many of Budapest’s top attractions, restaurants, and the beautiful Danube River. The apartment was well maintained, and incredibly easy to access, making my arrival and stay completely stress-free. A special thank you to Lorenzo, who was an exceptional host. His communication was outstanding from beginning to end, with clear instructions, prompt responses, and genuine care to ensure everything went smoothly. I truly felt welcomed and well looked after. I highly recommend Danube Corso Boutique Apartment and would not hesitate to stay here again on my next visit to Budapest!

Good location. Refurbished apartment. It has lift Good communication with the owner and flexible hours for key pick up.

Light filled, comfortable bed, centrally located, well ventilated, close to Metro line one and tram two running along the Danube river, grocery store close by as well as excellent Middle Eastern and Chinese restaurants.

Lacks microwave or oven

Location was OK. If I come back, I would stay in the area near St. Stephen's Basilica. That area seemed a little more upscale. We did not enjoy walking up Vaci St every time we wanted to go somewhere due to all the people hawking massages, etc. The shops in this area were all chain stores and souvenir shops. The owner did respond quickly to our concerns, however we never met him. There is a coded entry system, so seems secure enough.

The apartment building itself was in need of maintenance. One elevator was broken and the building seemed neglected. The apartment is also in need of a deep clean and basic maintenance. The owner did respond quickly to all of my concerns, however I wonder if he ever really goes to the apartment. There is a washer, but no clothes rack to dry clothes (we used the ironing board). The shower grout was moldy. Please check the listing for an apartment called "dfive" as this is the name on the door of the apartment. There are better apartments out there, but you get what you pay for.
