Budapest Riverfront Residence

Great location, modern style, big tv, air conditioning works.

Couldn’t manage to lock the door to balcony. The key was there but didn’t feel like it would turn and didn’t want to force it. The floating toilet was a bit high off the ground I’m 6 foot 110 kg and couldn’t feel relaxed sitting on it.

All was perfect

The location is nice. The bed was comfortable. The staff who brought us the baby bed, was really nice.

There is an elevator, but there are two sets of stairs before it. Not easy with small kids and strollers. The building is home for the Ukrainian Embassy. Maybe because of that, it seems to have a rather uncanny system of ventilation pipes crisscrossing in and out of it like it had a bunker or saferooms or idk, check pictures. The appartement is furnitured with an intention for luxurious optics but the outcome is ambivalent. The bathroom is a disaster: they had obliously spent a small fortune on the wall tiles and sanitary equipment but, they put a cheap wooden grid as a false cealing, above which you have to enjoy the view of the aformentioned pipe system and the chaotic wireing. One lamp was out of order and the door handle was stuck. While the whole Booking.com appearance of this accomodation suggests that it has nice views of the Danube, our appartement had a panorama on the courtyard which was run down and, honestly, suspicious. Check the windowless apartment with the pipes on the roof, in the picture.. All in all, such an apartment you can find in Budapest for half the price. I don't recommend.
